  1. Well we know it'll most definitely get swept under the rug.
  2. So _______ killed Al? How predictable and not shocking. Talk about not ending the cycle.
  3. This lie that Diane told is so stupid along with everyone else's reactions to the lie.
  4. (re: Peacock) I mean they canceled Saved by the Bell despite the show being received well by the audience. I don't have much hope that BelAir will last much longer either despite the great reception they have received too. (re: HBO/Discovery) Thank you for clarifying what is going on with them. Makes more sense. I do hope that Degrassi pops back up again. I hate that Netflix got rid of Degrassi Next Class as I actually liked that show.
  5. Then that makes total sense. I don't know why these major studios even tried going into streaming platforms. As TLC said, "Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to." Have y'all also heard of rumblings that NBC might be pulling back from Peacock too? I heard it on Twitter.
  6. This was a dumb decision on HBO's part IMO. Degrassi has a strong following. This show would've mirrored what Euphoria does for HBO. I don't know what's going on with the streaming platforms as of late, but they are on a cancelling fury.
  7. Look now, Sam survived getting impaled, so it'll be hard to kill him at this point.
  8. @Cheap21, the show is gonna be in REAL trouble when Jen gets sentenced. Bravo better be looking for 4 dynamic women to elevate this cast next season.
  9. Exactly! I think @I Am A Swedewould make the deaths more violent though. 😂
  10. 🤣 I know if you had the power, you'd have a mass killing of all things Dingle, wouldn't you?
  11. Thank you for answering my question! And wow! Talk about weird circumstances. Much like the weird circumstances of AW having Iris tape her ex-husband years earlier prior to Watergate. But that just shows how soaps were so in the pulse back then. Does anyone know if any of those episode survived and are in rotation? I would really like to see some Children of the Earth episodes.
  12. Question--so the EON cult story predates the actual Jonestown incident by months?
  13. Doubt it. They'll say someone else came and finished Al off after Cain left. Or they'll say it was self-defense. Much like EE thinks they can't live without Phil, ED thinks the same of Cain. I like Cain (too), but his antics have LONG grown old. He's only endearing when he's with Moira.
  14. I love this. I feel like this would've made SB multi-faceted as the show would finally be a multi-family soaps instead of it being Capwell overload. I feel one of the reasons this show didn't have longevity because anyone outside the Capwell bubble wasn't developed at all. And the classic structure of the "haves" versus the "have nots" was scrapped too soon.
  15. The whole Channing arc makes no sense to me when I watch the first year episodes. Personally, I think Channing would've been more useful had he been alive instead of dead. Sophia being "dead" was already enough conflict for the Capwells. I think it would've been juicer had Channing been alive and stringing Santana along while having a secret lover offscreen that the audience knew about named Lindsay. Then have Mason unveil that Lindsay is really a man and that causes Channing to flee town. Santana, CC, and the remainder of Capwells would learn overtime. And then like it occurred on the show, CC would have a heart attack and fall into a coma. With Joe, they could've simply just had CC disapprove of the relationship as Joe was poor in his eyes. CC could've had Mason stage a crime and frame Joe (which they did do), which resulted in him going to prison. And then continued on with Kelly falling for Peter until Joe was released. If I could sit with the Dobson, I would want to know what their long term plans were with the Perkins b/c (again), they were killed (John, Amy, Joe) or written off (Jade, Marissa) about 2 years in. Same with Danny too. And what were their intentions with the Lockridges too?
  16. I don't know why but I find myself watching the SB earthquake on an annual basis. Much like I watch Quint & Nola's love story on GL or the few episodes of Dream's End on ATWT that are available too. What I don't get is why didn't SB go ahead and kill off all the Perkins? Amy and Joe within a year anyway.
  17. RHOP: This episode was a filler. Robyn needs to NEVER host another event again. I have never seen such a piss poor event in my life. She didn't even try to plan something. It was painfully obvious this was a set up to bring the cast together. If I were production, I'd dock her pay for that crap. Next week, the group needs to start addressing the aggressive behavior of Robyn. I've been calling it out since s1 at the reunion when she got aggressive with Katie. And I get why Karen does not fool with Cha-Cha. She sat back and watched how that woman tried to come for her married with the Blue Eyes rumor and helped Gizzy try and bring up the lie that Monique was cheating on her husband. Cha-Cha is desperate to be back on this show at all costs.
  18. I'll give you that. How they killed off Pauline was horrendous.
  19. Jokes aside, I never get how these shows do these half-assed sendoffs to the matriarchs and patriarchs that started the show and feel they suffice. My mind instantly goes to the sendoff they have Nancy on ATWT, which I felt was more about Katie than Nancy. I just miss seeing Rik Makarem's handsome face on my screen. I swear after he left, my interest in the show started to deplete. Once Ashley died and Robert soon left, I really haven't watched since.
  20. But they didn't really give him much material during the time he was there. He literally used to have episodes of him just popping up on a bicycle and saying a cute line. They didn't toss him anything until that last lap with everything with Gennie. Didn't they just have Victoria walk into the fields and spread her ashes like she was some random?
  21. Wasn't it though! That's why Kyle was breaking down badly. She knows that Kathy and her family are DONE with her.
  22. Doubt it. She's trying to garner sympathy. Her ass will be back on set in a few weeks when they resume filming again. I don't believe anything Kyle is selling. She's the #1 stunt queen. If anything, this'll be her story next season--her sulking about her sisters cutting her off again. And she'll lash out at Rinna/Erika for a second to appease the audience then do a 180° and be p*ssed at Sutton/Garcelle/Crystal for still having access to Kathy. If she wanted to walk away, she should've done that after season 5 when Brandi and Rinna came between them. And entertaining that she is leaving the show, she might as well not. Kathy has been liking IG posts the past few days about Kyle having a hand in the whole ordeal. Kathy has closed that door on Kyle, and I doubt she'll ever open it again.
  23. Kyle ain't going nowhere. She's gonna ride this platform until the wheels fall off.
