The promo for it was SO snoozeworthy, but apparently it was good? I made the wrong call to watch these lackluster Oscars....

I like winners having more time to speak, but this is boring. Zero atmosphere. No clips for the nominated actors, just last year’s winner gushing at them individually? No stills for the makeup and hair nominees? Isn’t this supposed to be promotional for the films? The Grammys did a much better job of updating their format this year.

Can you imagine—MM as Hilary, KM as Amanda, and Leigh-Ann Rose as Imani? It would be beyond epic. Classic soap yet groundbreaking. It’s sad that it’s not even remotely a possibility. B&B could probably hire one of the Pose actresses, like MJ Rodriguez.
