  1. Is this really where the show’s going?
  2. If she stays, I have a feeling she might be infrequently used. She’s the same age as Nancy Lee Grahn, who’s still front and center on GH. There *should* be ways of using her, with a little imagination. She hasn’t destroyed her looks with excessive cosmetic interventions like some of her peers. Playing wife to Victor and family mediator are not all she should be doing. She’s still one of daytime’s most recognizable stars. Even JC had story nearly to the end, but Katherine cast a wider net in GC.
  3. Totally. And those kinds of very serious allegations are not something media commentators should be overlooking to celebrate an attractive, newly anointed out gay celebrity.
  4. I like MTS and Nikki quite a lot, and I think she still has value, but I fear they’ll find her expendable. None of the soaps really have any use for the “grande dame” role. (I guess Julie on DAYS comes closest, but not quite.) Nikki’s actually the Newman I like the most.
  5. Saw that she and Damian Lewis have teenage kids. All just very sad. Cancer is such a thief.
  6. This show has no idea what to do with Nikki. She’s barely even used.
  7. I saw just your words before the image appeared, bracing myself. Oh my god! Loved her guest role on Doctor Who. So sexy and alluring.

  9. The reality show was clearly the reason he came out. You bet they would.
  10. The stalking that led to his ex getting a restraining order against him. (She spoke very frankly about the trauma she suffered.) People have had their careers put on pause for less recently, so it’s just interesting to see people embrace his convenient coming out with such enthusiasm. The ladies on The View and The Talk were teary-eyed with joy over his coming out.

  12. I feel bad for clowning the Liam/Bill dialogue then. 😂
  13. “I’m going to remember those who were with me... and those who were against me....” What are YOU gonna do, Erika? Put a hit out on someone’s mama? Have *several* seats, lady. Can’t stand this wannabe thug...
  14. Definitely would be good physical casting. Has she left acting? Seems like she’s become an athletic wear entrepreneur.
  15. Solid choice for a temp. Hope Mishael recovers well.
  16. It’s just funny to me how all the bad press gets swept under the rug, and commentators are so joyful and gushing about him coming out. “Oh we have a gay Bachelor! We’re so happy for him! Giggle giggle!” What happened to “accountability”?
  17. There’s so many more coming too. I always wanted an adaptation of Octavia Butler’s Kindred, which is a sci-fi time-travel novel about slavery that I read in college. But now that there’s an actual adaptation of it coming in the next year or so, ugh, now I don’t want it. We don’t need 50,000 slave narratives.
  18. I’m assuming you didn’t watch Them? I was aghast when I read what happens in that show. No way am I going there...
  19. Liam is unwatchably annoying right now. How much are they paying the writers to write the same dialogue between Bill and Liam every damn day? It must be a copy-and-paste job...
  20. I like how Sally stood up on the step to level up to Phyllis. I wonder if Sally will play on Nick’s already-voiced insecurities about Phyllis’s relationship with Jack and weasel her way in. To me, their rivalry is the only story the show has with real tension.
  21. Amazon has dropped the trailer for the 10-part series from Barry Jenkins, based on the Colson Whitehead novel. It premieres May 14.
  22. From D.C. 🇺🇸
