My thoughts/speculations/wonderings... Billy Flynn isn't Australian, so how could he be playing Cane? (yes I know JoshGriffith rarely make sense). I know nothing. But I'm not convinced that Dumas is actually Cane. It's theoretically possible that Cane is working with Dumas, or working against Dumas. *Maybe* they're the same person? But it just doesn't make sense to me. I just don't know if Cane and Dumas are two different characters who will both debut at the same time with two different actors playing recast Cane and new character Dumas? Or if they are the same person played by one actor. It does seem plausible that Cane would be written as plotting about Chancellor and about Winters, since Cane pretended to be Jill's son and because Lily divorced his lying a.ss. But I don't believe Victor Newman would be ranting about Dumas if Dumas is Cane. Why would Victor care about Cane? I mean, Nikki is running Chancellor and Victor would want that protected, but wouldn't Victor view Cane as being unworthy of notice? Billy Flynn was filming Days into part of April. The Y&R episodes that aired recently were filmed around April 8th, based on behind-the-scenes pics. So that would fit for Flynn to first appear on Y&R onscreen at end of May or in early June. That doesn't say recast. Unless that's subterfuge. (I just edited this post a bunch of times, thinking aloud, trying to make it make sense, LOL. (credit to @dragonflies for finding the tweet) Here is why the rumor is back... From a group of French Y&R viewers, (Y&R is called "Les Feux de l'Amour" in France), they are active on social media. May 21, 2025, they said on their twitter and facebook pages that there is a *RUMOR* that Aristotle Dumas is a pseudonym for Cane Ashby, and thus Billy Flynn is playing Dumas who is actually Cane. Now on May 28, they tweeted this screenshot from the IG stories of Y&R costume designer Mandi Lane. Wardrobe hanger labeled with a character name starts with "CA". I just watched today (U.S Wednesday) episode. I love the Chelsea/Dani scenes. Dani was way over the top; but Chelsea was the voice of reason trying to stop Dani from being so extra. Every time Dani said the ridiculous dramatic thing, Chelsea was trying to calm her down, to be reasonable. See, in this episode, Dani wasn't the star, Chelsea was the star with her calming presence. I felt like the show itself was acknowledging that Dani is too much - she is who she is -- not a villain, but not a heroine either. This feels (to me) like a change from three months ago when BTG began. At the beginning of BTG, I thought we were being told to root for Dani. Now it's not that. So I'm team Chelsea today.

The only thing to make Hurricane Sami late... is a volcano.Speaking of Wayne Northrop as Roman... segue back to GH: After Wayne passed, I was saddened to learn that he'd had Alzheimer's for several years. So Lynn Herring had been running their farm without him, and supporting his care at the place he was treated, *and* acting on GH. 2025 is the first Nurses Ball filmed since Ms. Herring lost her husband. Another reason I'm glad that they gave Lucy some dignity this year. This is what she wore this year (thanks to MichaelFairman for organizing the photos.)Good soap is like this Gio parentage storyline, when you understand where all the characters are coming from. It reminds me of Days when Marlena learned there were two Romans and she loved them both. And the famous scene where she talks to Abe about how Abe gets to be friends with both WayneRoman and DrakeRoman and he doesn't have to choose. And she doesn't want to choose. You can see all the points of view, and nobody is completely right or wrong. Because it's about the human condition and not about shipper wars or fan favorites. Or as Toups said upthread, no mobsters needed. Just human nature being explored. I have been reading the recaps and discussion of the most recent GH episodes, and have watched some clips. Amazing stuff. I will have to find a temporary subscription to Hulu just to watch these Gio reveal scenes. And the Michael stuff. I'm also glad to read that they dispensed with the Lucy-in-her-underwear trope from the Nurses Balls of previous years. I'm glad Lynn Herring got to show Lucy as fun and irrepressible but also with some dignity. I was going to skip watching the Nurses Ball this year, but with that and the Gio stuff and Michael stuff, I will watch. And of course Queen Jane Elliot.The eventuality that viewers will see John's memorial service wouldn't be a spoiler since we all know that Drake passed. (The specific airdate and attendees of the memorial service would be a spoiler, so I wouldn't post that here even if I knew, which I don't.) A lot of this stuff (Bo's illness, John's death, the memorial service, and other family stuff) would have been filmed fairly close together (not sure of the timespan) due to the availability of guest actors. All we know is that they finished filming some of that sequence just a few days before Drake passed away. Most of actors didn't know Drake's death was coming so soon, (The family kept it under wraps) but some of them were told that his condition was not recoverable and that he would pass at some point. Obviously the onscreen tears are real. We aren't just seeing the characters crying. We're seeing the actors' real grief. I haven't watched today's episode yet.
