  1. Nice interview with 94-year-old Ray Stewart and his groundbreaking role on Barney Miller. It's also noted that he was on Days. Any specifics on who he played @JAS0N47? Thank you https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/04/arts/television/barney-miller-gay-couple.html?unlocked_article_code=1.yk8.91k6.Wt8TzONrnTLR&smid=url-share
  2. I know…if Shari is Choice A and Cindy is Choice B, can I choose #3, none of the above?
  3. Would Cindy Ambuehl have been a better ‘96 Ashley than Shari Shattuck…? 🤔 https://www.swooon.com/1240335/bold-and-the-beautiful-don-diamont-wife-cindy-ashley-abbott-young-and-the-restless/
  4. As if Cricket wouldn’t remember that her first time “meeting” Traci was saving her from the suicide attempt
  5. Wow those are deep cuts, and indeed accurate!
  6. Love it, thanks! This brings to mind Brad in a Cage or the Rawlins murder.
  7. Here’s what bothers me about the beginning of the Victor/Nikki/Jack/Ashley quad… It happens SO FAST, less than a year, after Niktor’s “fairy-tale” wedding, which overcame close brushes with murder by both Rick and Eve, Victor’s groin injury, and stupid lies related to Victoria’s paternity. After the wedding, despite being extremely immature, Nikki does a fantastic job of fitting herself into Victor’s world: reuniting him with his mother, successfully pulling off the society charity ball, teaming up with him to gather info on the Mergeron family for his business deal. The beginning of the rift is Jack enticing Nikki to be a Jabot model, which rubs Victor wrong. This should NOT surprise Victor! He observed this scenario playing out in ’83, where Nikki insisted on continuing to strip after marrying Kevin. Victor should have been grateful that Nikki went to work at Jabot instead of returning to the Bayou! Overall, Victor failed to acknowledge and appreciate Nikki’s true nature of enjoying the spotlight. This is really pathetic on his part, as he is a good two decades older and should know better. If Victor had remained faithful and supportive of Nikki, there wouldn’t have an opening for Jack to exploit.
  8. I’ll third that! Thanks for all you do, ChickenNuggetz!
  9. 🤣 that's my thought exactly! He should avoid his rhythmic thrusts and fist pumping. It usually looks awkward bc the songs are not fast-paced. He would look wayyyy cooler behind a keyboard, like Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac. Or one of those giant portable keyboards you wear across your torso, with a big strap, like Prince and the Revolution.
  10. Here's what I don't get... there's tons of scenes of Danny in the apartment, playing the keyboard and writing new songs. But when he performs, we never see him play any instrument 🤔
  11. Victoria’s 16th birthday party, 8/28/91
  12. Thank you! We gave up hope of ever seeing this.
  13. He left late ‘81, returned mid ‘82. Coincidentally, Chris was off-screen during his brother Jake’s reign of terror as the Salem Strangler.
  14. Apologies if this has already been discussed but I haven’t visited this thread in awhile. It’s the 40th anniversary of the debut of 227, and saw a mention of Jackee’s stint on Another World as Lily Mason from ‘83-86. Does anyone remember her time on the show? What was her story? Was she a sporadic recurring character, or more of a constant presence, on contract? Was she really on until ‘86? I think 227 started filming in summer ‘85 in LA, and AW filmed in NYC.
  15. A few years ago, someone posted her a SOD profile of Brenda Dickson circa Oct ‘83 after her return. I neglected to save the pages posted. If the person sees this, could you repost? Thank you so much
  16. Did we ever determine when Victor and Cricket first exchanged dialogue?
  17. A rare exception was Mary-Frances Sumner, who was brought back for 1 episode to be promptly assassinated.
  18. Ah yes I found the quote “The job was supposed to go longer but the actors strike stopped production and shortened the length of the season, so my part got truncated’ https://www.tvinsider.com/83676/general-hospitals-jane-elliot-dishes-on-her-awesome-50-year-run-in-soaps/
  19. Jane said in an interview that there were originally bigger plans for Judy, but the 1981 writers strike shortened Knots season 2 along with Judy's arc. I love Judy's line to Abby "I'm not holding the check - you are!" Classic
  20. SL gives a masterclass in parrying the interviewer's inane questions
  21. I only know Wortham Krimmer from his brief villainous stint as Cal Winters on Days from 89-90, which I found underwhelming. How nice to see him in a better role that highlights his talent and charisma.
