  1. The NBA and NFL's recent backtrack on rigorous testing makes no sense.
  2. He's not interested. It was nice to see Tamara Tunie though. I think I already knew that she would be working with Kasi Lemmons, so hopefully they'll do something online together. I'd love to hear from them about when they worked together on World Turns.
  3. He mentioned it. I don't know if the question originated from the chat or not, but he definitely talked as though this were the case. Kim's murder trial was over before Jessica appeared onscreen. It was so long ago, I can't blame Tamara Tunie for not remembering, but it's sad that he would say it and be so sure of himself, because it's wrong information.
  4. How was Jessica Griffin involved in Doug Cummings trial? What? I can't do the chat. Trollish-behavior, lol.
  5. If the Senate Parliamentarian is an advisory role and can be replaced, as people are saying, then why is she still there? Why all this chaos? Isn't Schumer the Senate leader? Do they need a majority vote or something? What's the problem? I'm genuinely asking. If the shoe were on the other foot, Republicans would likely replace her if she were standing in the way of their agenda, no?
  6. Yeah, I could barely get past the second episode so I knew, in all likelihood there'd be no third.
  7. It is weird though because for quite some time the rumor was that Samantha was the character to be killed off. At first I thought that had to be some type of red herring but this recent bit of news has made me question that assumption. I'm not trying to imply that everyone knew but, oh well, regardless, these allegations are now out there...for all the issues this limited series has, Big won't be one of them going forward.
  8. These Chris Noth allegations makes me wonder if some folks may have known something along the way. I mean, it is likely that Noth also didn't want to return full-time but I do wonder about what went into the decision to kill off the character vs. just having Carrie divorce Big, as it's not like they haven't broken up before.
  9. Ugh, I can just imagine. Locher: So Hunt, I understand that you introduced Tamara to her first husband? Tunie/Block: What?!/Huh?? Tunie: That was the first Craig Montgomery, Scott Bryce. Locher: Well, he won't take my calls anymore, so I figured, here's the next best thing. (Tamara is NOT amused).
  10. Amanda Seyfried (ATWT, AMC) stars as the infamous Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos in an upcoming Hulu limited series.
  11. TBH, she's had an awesome career during ATWT too. She had a lot of down time to do other projects even while still a cast member of the series. Maybe if Locher could get Scott Bryce to drop in for a few minutes, as they are good friends, that may help.
  12. Honestly, there is not a Black woman writer today who wasn't deeply affected by the legacy of bell hooks. Unfortunately, I never got the chance to take a course with her, I arrived a little too late and just missed her presence but was fortunate enough to hear one of her lectures. Someone mentioned yesterday that 69 still seems too young for a passage, which does seem accurate when one thinks about it. R.I.P.
  13. Proof positive that many of the accounts taking up for Rademacher on social media have no earthly idea who he even is, one tweet mentioned the 25 year old actor.🤣 Another complained that after watching GH for 51 years, he would no longer watch GH... because of Burton and Radmacher? These bots are not as sharp as the usual misinformation ones.
  14. Maybe Antonio Sabato Jr. can find him a construction job. Or they can both be carnival barkers together.
  15. @Videnbas Wow, that seems extreme! TBH, I was never quite sure of what a shadow ban was, so I finally decided to look it up. You pointed out something that was amiss. It's really not that serious. It's not as if others hadn't noticed, everyone pretty much knew that the sequence of videos could often be out of order. They could've just corrected it and kept things moving. Unfortunately, I can't say that I am surprised since I have seen soap fans sometimes get up in arms over a critique, as if it will sink the entire series. I do wonder if someone made an error and felt pressured to cover their tracks. You'd be surprised by how some people in the entertainment field can chastise people for the tiniest of errors, just ask anyone who has ever worked for Scott Rudin. It's not always convenient but posting here, rather than under the video on YouTube is your best bet for uncensored discussion. Unfortunately, I am already beginning to see "Stan Wars" between various factions (Brooke fans vs. Caroline fans) in the comments section and it's utterly ridiculous. One of the more embarrassing elements of soap fandom, and there are already enough to go 'round. These episodes are over 30 years old and people are fighting over who Ridge loves more LOL.
  16. Cynthia Nixon has another project, good for her. https://youtu.be/wKj1cMz3yfI
  17. In terms of Shakespeare on screen, I am not certain but onstage, Washington is a beast, total command of the stage. He wouldn't be Will's sole competition though. I have no rooting interest in awards though since I am long past the point of looking for these award shows to validate anyone. Ellis to me, melded seamlessly into the role and had a immeasurable impact on the story. I'm so glad that Isha Price insisted on beefing up Oracene's role in this movie. You couldn't have told a complete story without her.
  18. Big time publicist that he is, it's insane that he hasn't noticed Michael Fairman's channel or Maurice Benard's channel or, well anybody else's channel. With the 'Great Resignation' in effect, there are still plenty of people at home still and even delayed views from view shifting would still count. His channel is just not attracting any of them.
  19. Nobody is going to take that chance if there is no guarantee that the interest is there, and those waning Locher Room video views ain't gonna do it. Days can do this because these will be first-run episodes. You can't do the same with a bunch of old episodes, not without a massive upgrade of the quality of episodes, the SoapClassics once did (and we know P&G didn't really want to make the effort to continue this). Better to do what B&B has been doing, run classic episodes 'As Is' on their own YouTube channel with ad breaks.
  20. Soap fans have to be careful what they wish for. Many times fans have expressed their willingness to pay subscription fees for content, well they obviously heard you, lol. It's like those people on Twitter who say "I can't believe this app is free!" They may be joking but now twitter is trying to charge for certain features and folks are complaining. Well they're listening, lol and they heard you.
  21. He definitely deserves a nomination ,but honestly, it's likely to be tough to win with the spectre of Denzel Washington doing Shakespeare and Andrew Garfield in a Lin-Manuel Miranda production, as well as Dominic Cumberbatch in a high-profile vehicle (although the Academy tends to hate Netflix). IMO, Aunjanue Ellis has a clear shot at the Supporting Actress category and she's already been quietly scooping up awards.
  22. Besides an authoritarian type? I'm really not sure, but I admit to no longer really keeping a close watch on who is coming down the political pipeline.
