Yes, I like him with Maggie and Martha, and as uncle to Rico. I even like his adversarial relationship with John, as I think GG and PH had good acting chemistry. But there were zero romantic sparks with Redthea, the three Cathies, or Ann. I didn't watch GG on GH so I don't know whether he had chemistry with his leading ladies there.

Gerald Gordon didn't have romantic chemistry with any of his leading ladies on TD, except for Elizabeth Hubbard. And I don't even see that anymore. It doesn't help that his character is a brute, as far as I'm concerned.

She reminds me a bit of Fran Sharon, who played Cookie on Edge of Night, but I'm not positive that it's her.

John Randolph was definitely staid but that's one of the reasons I liked him. Not everyone needs to be dynamic to work as a character.

Lemay did destroy John. He made him really stupid in regard to his involvement with Olive (Jennifer Leak). At least John went out a hero by trying to save Alice from the fire. I always liked him and hated to see him killed off though.

You're welcome! I have some very brief synopses I'm trying to compile in some order. I noticed that the characters played by Groom and Fitzgerald were mentioned less (if at all) as the series went along. The focus changed to a murder mystery involving the Larsons (David O'Brien and Sandra Smith). I did come across a letter that a viewer wrote complaining about the series ending without resolution to several hanging stories.

I don't remember her from The Secret Storm but I certainly remember her in The Flying Nun and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
