Nice to read all your posts. Seems almost everyone is happy that Marlena and John are back and enjoyed their scenes. I'm so looking forward to watching Marlena evolve now. And, John, too. His life will certainly be different.

Abby and EJ were a surprise. I was stunned that the scene was created and what is it to accomplish? 1. To show how EJ will have chemistry with everyone in Salem, 2. Get Abby someone to fantasize about and maybe move her toward a real relationship. EJ is a bit old for her, I believe.

I do love EJ, good or bad, he's won me over, too.

When both quads have wrapped up their sl I hope we don't see any of them for a while, except maybe Sami and the best part of them was Sami mentioning getting an email from Marlena saying that she would be home that day. Oh, and that EJ isn't flipping over Carrie...big huge applause.

Not on today's show, but just musing. I think Max and Stephanie are a good couple, so Chelsea and Abby both need new partners. Who could they be paired with without getting two new hunks?

Well, Chelsea could always be paired with Damien from the Omen movies.

They can find someone new for Abby. The way she is written, and the way she plays the role, is something that really endures her to me. It's nice to see a young lady on a daytime drama who is not acting like a self-important whiny bitch (Now who on Days fits that bill? Hmm. Can't think of anyone off the bat).

i think i'll like John more now..because even though marlena wants a separation to find herself..John knows she loves him deeply and will be back to him when she's ready..So he won't be all obsessive to get her back...I was getting sick of that during the alex north storyline....I"m looking forward to seeing john help out in the patch storyline..and from Patch's blog, it looks like they have scenes coming up..

Um, Belle, the best way to handle that isn't to shock the hell out of your parents and make them jump to the conclusion that you're an adulterous slut. The best way (in my opinion) is to IMMEDIATELY start off with the in vitro explanation and work your way up to the switch. Otherwise, for the 10 seconds it takes you to muster up the explanation the other way, YOU look like a dirty slut who broke her marriage vows for that 10 seconds .

I just love seeing people working and wanting to get jobs. JER gave us a little of this last Fall but then he went back to all plot again. I love these little moments. I have no idea why they threw Abby/EJ together but I still liked it.

Austin pushing up the wedding to dig at Carrie is mean but deserved. I like it-pretty good reasoning to move up the wedding for me.

I love Drake with the short hair-he looks so much better. It is just nice seeing J&M happy. Even when she asked for the separation, he didn't get defensive and was so great about it. It is so nice seeing them have real people problems after what happened with Alex. I am really liking their return and the start of what is coming for them.

I also really enjoyed Martha with them-KS could have never made that work. Martha has great chemistry with J&M and she makes a great daugher to Dee's Marlena. They really do fit as mother and daughter and I say that everytime they share scenes, which isn't much. I hope we get more scenes with them because Belle/Marlena scenes are a treat.

I was shocked at the new set. I didn't see the 1st 15 mins so couldn't figure out where Shawn and Mimi were. I thought maybe it was the basement laundry room but it had desks. Weird. So I suppose Belle knew he was working and that's why she showed up but did she see Abby? Confusle there. Hehe on Mimi's asking if they were planning on living across from Phil and Belle for the rest of their lives.

I'm not sure what Austin is trying to do with the wedding. Force Carrie to come clean before he ties the knot? Will somebody other than Kate stand up at a wedding when the preacher says "or forever hold your peace"?

John and Marlena. Well, 50% of your return has my ringing endorsement! John just amuses me too much not to miss, but I'm sure Salem's supply of melons would have a different tale to tell.

Marlena was much more difficult to work up enthusiasm for. However, I'm really excited for her to go to Europe with all the other misguided college-age kids who need to "find themselves."
