I loved Kayla and Stephanie all during the show. It was a great view into this mother and daughter and individually.

It was also good to see that Della has a tiny bit working for her because up until today, I could not see Steve/Nick having a thing to do with her ever.

Good acting on the Devereaux scenes. Very moving.

It was nice to finally start getting to know Stephanie a little better. At first I didn't like her much, but she's beginning to win me over. And I thought the mother/daughter conversation between her and Kayla was very realistic. I've had similar conversations with my teenage daughter--only without the "dad coming back from the dead" stuff.

I think Stephanie is going to be a great addition to the show. She is intelligent, strong willed, good values, opininated, but at the same time a little bit unsure of herself. I feel like she is someone I can like and admire while at the same time being able to identify with her.

I loved the scenes with Kayla and Stephanie today; and I'm feeling more and more connected with Nick each episode. I'm seeing the old Steve in him each day a little bit more.

I think I almost teared up today when Jennifer was begging Jack to stay with them, and then he opened his eyes and said we have a deadline Miss Horton. Great use of history there, and just perfect for the moment. I really wish that Abby would stay on the show when Jack/Jenn leave. She is just as perfect as Stephanie is for the next generation of Hortons and Bradys.

I liked the Kayla/Stephanie scenes ...but I have a major problem with

Stephanie being more upset about "Max" than she is about

possibly losing her father (and possibly forever).:unsure:

Is that all that there is going to be to Stephanie?

Yikes!

I also think Stephanie comes off as a bit....overconfident.

I do like confidence and chutzpah in any character,

so don't get me wrong. I would just like her character to be

a bit....softer? The actress really needs to develop some

more vulnerability and "listening" in her scenes.

Especially in scenes with Kayla, she seems a bit too...

"me me me"...

And with Abby/Chelsea she was a little self-righteous or something

Today was a decent show. It wasn't anything special, but I wasn't disappointed for the most part like I have been in the past few DAYS.

I love Della! Is this role only short-term? How long do we have the actress on the show? Does anyone else like her? I'm hoping others like her as well because I want her to stay on the show. She is pretty feisty. I want to see her mixing it up with some of the other women in Salem. And I know this is probably the biggest DAYS sin to say, but I'm loving Steve and Della together and wouldn't mind seeing them rather than Steve and Kayla :o shock shock, I know, but I love it. Bring on more STELLA!

Mary Beth Evans and Shanya Rose play mother/daughter scenes very well. It's believable, just like when Deidre Hall is in a scene with any of her children. You just believe it. It's great chemistry. I don't see why people aren't liking Stephanie or Rose's acting. I think she is doing a fine job for being such a newbie. I wish she were in a different storyline. I hate the incestous Chelsea/Max/Stephanie fiasco, but whatever. And what was up with Stephanie not telling Kayla who the man is. Does Stephanie know who Max is, that he is her uncle? I haven't seen many of their scenes together so I don't know.

As heartbreaking as the Deveraux storyline is supposed to be, I cannot wait until they leave Salem. Don't get me wrong here. I love Matthew Ashford and his portrayl of Jack. Melissa Reeves, I could do without. We are truely losing a gem in Ashford's exit, but I digress. The reason I'm not into these scenes is because it's about the 6th time we've had to endure them. We have seen Jennifer, Abby and JJ surrounding Jack's hospital bed too many times. Do they even need new scripts? I bet the show can just use the scripts they used in the first 5 death scenes Jack had by just tweaking them a bit.

I'm not too interested in the Austin/Carrie/Lucas/Sami/EJ storyline and didn't really pay much attention to it. They are truely turning into Shawn/Belle/Philip/Mimi/Rex/Jan of a couple years ago. It's torturing!

DrewHamilton, I tell you I can't believe I'm saying this but I [!@#$%^&*] LOVE Della, too!! She has me cracking up in EVERY scene she's in. Great comic relief. From her throaty, phone-sex operator/barfly/hick voice to her oversexed demeanor, she's a hoot! I just love this !@#$%^&*] and REALLY want the actress playing her to get a contract.

I liked the Kayla/Stephanie scenes.

But I gotta wonder with Sami: was she more concerned that Carrie could never have kids, or that her hold over Austin is slipping? See, it's reasons like these that I hate Sami and root for Carrie. Selfish skank!

The Devereaux scenes made today.

Sami's dialogue for today was atrocious and embarassing.

Now that Della toned down her vagina, she's tolerable. I actually really like the actress. I know I've seen her before besides reminding me of Ava from GL.

But... but... but... Della can't ACT!

Unless woodenly proclaiming "Damn you!" and "She got to you didn't she?" every few minutes is considered acting now.

Seriously, my deep S&K love aside, I'd spork out my eyes if I thought Della were staying. She's horrible. And I can appreciate a good skank.

I hate Della. Up until today, she had nothing going for her. I still think she was hired so there'd always be someone around to keep Steve in check and away from anyone who would know him. It's apparent she wasn't working hard enough, enter Jack, and Nick certainly didn't tell her about going to Salem until he returned to Cincinnati. If I'm right, they hid it very well today when they talked about the danger he might be in. The way she steered to conspiracy as oposed to evil madman (who she's probably working for) was a bit smooth, eh?

This brings me to Steve. Nick is so much liuke Steve. When Della said that's your old life, you're nothing like him, I laughed. He's EVERYTHING like Steve, just without the memories. He's so self-deprecating. Once again, he's pushed Kayla as far away as he could while still wanting her. And when he talked about beign a cop and a government agent, all laughing and then all serious, oh man, I love SN! He's so obviously afraid. Fear is why Steve always did things. He always needed to protect other people and, occasionally, himself and, until he knows the deal, he can't do that and it's driving him nuts!

I hate Stephanie's storyline, but I loved her with Kayla today. It's like Shawn Brady all over again. Sucked on his own, great with family. D'oh! Of course, Ros eis better than Cook by several margins, but her story just sucks.

I think, for the first time, they're really devoting some great stuff to Jack 'dying". It was great to see Maggie again. Her airtime is almost acting like contract these days. And when Jack faded and came back and went into reporter mode and calling Jen 'Miss Horton', my heart broke! It's gotten repetitive, but I still love it.

The stalling is irritating. I love EJ and it's becoming clearer and clearer that he's probably going to be Benjy. But the story needs to move, like, yesterday! Sami needs to stop backing out. if they were going to do the twist with her actually telling the truth, she should have done it. One or two struggles, okay, but the fact that she keeps forgettign that TGO could expose her before she could confess should be far more pressing than any of her fears, so it's gotten ridiculous and has made EJ ridiculous. This transition has really put this group in a bad, bad place.

I don't like Della. I'm sure they would have gotten a more seasoned actress if the role were going to be long-term.

Frankly, when Patch and Kayla truly start investigating his lost years, obviously another woman will come crawling out of the woodwork. (You think he was single up until the time he met Della? Hmm, maybe if he had his Patch/Steve memories, but my theory is that he never had those memories during his time away....) Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I'd like to see Mary Beth Evans take on a dual role and play the woman from Patch's past, who I'd call "Patrice". Maybe put a brown wig on her, and brown contacts...I just want to see what the fans would do! WHo would they root for? Who would they hate, when "the other woman" is technically the same woman? Hmmmmmmm!!!!!

(Plus, it would cut down on actor bashing)

I just love this bitch and REALLY want the actress playing her to get a contract.

The show is cuttingh contracts left and right and you want this chick to be on contract? Excuse me while I spork my other eye out.

This is EXACTLY why I love this chica!!:lol::lol:

"Blondie pulled out the big guns, didn't she?"

"Damn you!"

"She got to you, didn't she?"

I [!@#$%^&*] love it!

Today's show was pretty good, I'll be glad when J&J are done with the hospital scenes though.....

The actress that plays Della, her name is Elena Lyons and she's been in quite a few things....Check out her IMDB page, and you might be able to figure out what you've seen her on before.... I thought she looked kind of familiar too, especially after her scenes today....

Today's was an ok show, but I am starting to wonder who is pulling Lexie's strings and messing with Sammy? Also, Belle is starting to become monotonous......either leave Phillip-or don't!
