Yeah I'm thinking they are probably nice to each other away from the cameras...still that was some intense stuff! It was watered down though - they had men standing guard, and they didn't let the girls sit close enough to get a slap in.

They definitely cut some stuff out of the show to get it under an hour. I remember the previews had Flav meeting Jasmine the daughter - and there were some other things in the previews they didn't show on the actual show.

And LMAO at Krazy - her song was horrible and you could tell she was nervous and that she knew she sounded like A$$ and the only reason they let her sing was to embarrass herself and let all the others laugh at her.

Yeah...now I know exactly what Spike Lee was talking about in the movie Bamboozled. That was the worst hour of television I have ever witnessed. They need to feature that on the illest minority moments countdown on VH1.

First of all, New York is all talk and if they would have ignored her...she would have talked about herself and that's it. She feeds off of drama and that keeps her going, but I loved that dress she had on.

Deelishis...if she didn't look like an Ultra Amazon next to Flav, I don't know what else to say. Oh and as for bringing your sneakers on a show specifically to fight...GMAFB. I noticed they cut the whole 'Flav meets Jasmine' part out...interesting.

Buckwyld...I loathe her.

Boots...what is up with the hair...and all of the running and what not...idiot.

Anger Managment Girl...did she take the classes in a week. I really hated the way she talked.

What's funny about all of this is...New York gets the last laugh, because SHE gets her own show...SHE gets to pick from a group of men, that I am sure will have some people above her status...and SHE gets another paycheck.

As for NY's mom and Flav...such a waste and so was Krazy's mini concert.

This reunion once again proved that New York is the only thing worthwhile about this season. Before she came out I was falling asleep, Flav is not the star, the HBIC is!

The woman is BRILLIANT when it comes to manipulating these idiots minds! Her comments are always so effortless and she knows the perfect thing to get on each specific persons nerves. She made all of them look like trash, especially Delishis who took off her shoes, etc. How tacky.

Another thing I love about the HBIC is that she isn't out there famewhoring herself. She knows how to market herself and make us want more, more, more. These other whores doing the porn, videos and magazines know nobody cares about them so they have to milk their 15 seconds of fame. New York let everything come to her and I think she looks better in the end. SHE is the star of the show, not Flavor Flav!

That was some deliciously entertaining television. Just a pool of over the top ghettoocity. I LOVE IT.

I love Delicious. I'm glad she won, loved her being somewhat lady like at the end. I love NY too though. During Season 1 so many people were talking about how they hate her and I had to tell them, NY Makes this show, along with FLAV.

I dont know what she was thinking before she got out there but NY looked horrible. From her tacky weave to her clown makeup; she looked a hot mess. And what was all this talk about her being fabulous. Girl please. Take a good look in the mirror before spouting that out your mouth.

I thought hte reunion was horrible. The first season 1 was put together much, much better. I liked how they had a segment introducing the girls in order they were eliminated and then brought in Flav and the final 3 at the end. Not this time. Too much focus and emphasis on NY. I was laughing when Buckwild threw a shoe at her and 4 girls tried to get a piece of her. She's ridiculous. And what was up with Saafyri targeting NY? Does she love drama bc she didnt even know her. She needs to go get a refund on whoever she paid to help her with her anger

I found this!!! Watch it - is is the unedited version of all the girls going after NY - you can hear what NY is screaming at Bootz after Bootz runs backstage and gets stopped. Also shows the girls getting kicked off the stage.

LMAO at LaLa just crouching down and then at the end waving at the camera like she's so disgusted and worn out, yet trying to have a good time....haha.

I still wanna know why this Saafyri chick goes after NY? Stupid biyotch.

I was listening to Flav on the Wendy Williams show today. He was a guest. Yeah he got some girl pregnant and she's 7 months. I was surprised to hear he and Deelishus werent together. I knew it wouldnt last, but I didnt think it would end that quick bc she seemed genuine. Apparently she's dating Clinton Porter from the Redskins. Good for her, bc he's definetly an upgrade from Flav. I didnt get to listen to the whole thing but apparently Flav and one of the host, Charlamaine, on the show got into it bc he asked Flav what did he think of the negative portrayal of black woman on Flavor of Love and Flav just laughed it off and didnt really give an answer or opinion

    • Speculation about Missy Reeves' potential evolution on basic civil rights doesn’t change my opinion of her. My view is shaped entirely by her public social media presence—which I find unpalatable—and I have no interest in learning more beyond that. I simply liked Jennifer’s hair and dress. That’s as far as my admiration goes.

    • Cheryl was gone before Lemay came back but I agree with your thinking that he would rather a character from a family he introduced to the show than a family he did not originate.  I remember reading somewhere in the early 90's probably after DS left as writer, their was an either a writer or a producer who made a comment that their intent was bring the McKinnon family back to AW.  Would have made sense for the newer viewers from the 80's.  Much like Lemay's attempt to bring the Frames back from his writing in the 70's in his 1988 return
    • DePriest left in January 1988. According to the AWHP, Rose last appeared nearly a year before in February 1987 while both Sara and Peggy appeared as late as October 1987.
    • Annie was not brought in as an antagonist for Reva. Reva wasn’t even on the canvas when Annie first appeared in late 1994.
    • The speculation……….very entertaining.
    • I had forgotten that several Days stars came out strong against Melissa. Good for them!
    • That would have made sense. Did all these characters get dropped when DePriest left or had they already been dropped?
    • The other issue with Missy: in June 2020, she "liked" some social media posts by Candace Owens -- things Candace said that were against Black Lives Matter.  That is described here https://tvline.com/news/melissa-reeves-racism-days-of-our-lives-instagram-controversy-2894568/ I don't know if that was ever resolved.
    • She appeared onscreen not long after Rose Livingston and Sara Montaigne, and we found out that Sara was Rose's estranged daughter. I wonder whether Peggy might have been part of that family group -- or else they were just juggling a few different potential mysteries so that they could develop whatever seemed to be getting the best response from the audience. They didn't do anything much with Rose and Sara really either. Maybe Rose would have become more prominent if Rachel and Mac had split up over Mitch, or if Sara had really flourished. In some ways I can picture Cheryl being affected by MJ's prostitution similarly to how Josie was distressed by finding out about Sharlene. But I can also see that Josie as a Frame being involved with Matthew would have different stakes for Rachel and Sharlene than Cheryl being involved with Scott. I do think the solution for Cheryl would have had to be a badder boy than Scott -- either a real bad boy who would do her wrong, or the kind of bad boy (not Chad!!!) who is essentially misunderstood and other people just don't understand. Cheryl would also have been better off with some friends her own age. Matthew and Josie benefited a bit from having other teenagers to interact with.
