AMC's New Look...

So I’m thinking this will only last this week (as part of ConFusion’s debut), but how does everyone feel about AMC’s new film-like look? I’m not really sure how I feel. Sometimes I like it because it looks more expensive and professional, but other times I don’t like it because it’s distracting to the scenes. If they keep it, however, I'm sure I'll get used to it. I guess it would be better if they don’t have the camera shaking all the time.... gives me a headache. The shaking is my only gripe about it. The actual look is good, but the direction isn't.

I guess I’ll say YAY (for now)

AMC is using the Film Look? SHWEEET. Even if this show is crap, I'll have to tape it just to see those camera angles and stuff.

*Sigh* I MISS THE CITY!

It takes some getting used to. Yesterday I was like "What the [!@#$%^&*] is this?!?" but today I'm liking it. It's probably only just for ConFusions opening, but if it sticks I wouldnt mind. Makes the show look better than it is.

Nay. That crap made me dizzy.

The film look wouldn't be so bad if someone could keep the damn camera still .......

Hope that made sense....

Yay and Nay. Yesterday I would have said nay, however it was less shaky today. Today I was finally getting what they were trying to do.

Yes the color makes it better... but it is still shaky...

I say YAY! I was talking about this someplace else. I think the film-look and the hand held camera in scenes gives the drama some depth. You're truly in the thick of things which is kind of lacking in daytime drama. It's more cinematic and adds intensity.

I haven't watched AMC since mid June, but I tuned in this week to see the Josh/Erica story climax.

But you do realize that we're just a bunch of brainless lab rats in Frons's big science project, don't you? :P

We're being manipulated into watching this horrendous tripe due to "oooooh! look at the pretty colorss!!!"

I'm ashamed of myself... but at least, visually, AMC's stepped up the game. I still think the writing sucks ass!

YAY I like it! I have only caught one show though, I need to watch another episode this week to see it again, (if they keep it after confusion's opening.)

Gotta add that I've found the lighting on the show much better than the last time I've watched. Great improvement.

It looks great in the Confusion scenes, but all of the stuff at New Beginnings and at the hospital yesterday didn't look good at all.

It would be interesting if all soaps started to do this. The visual look of soaps has changed a lot over the years and this would be just another change, I guess.
