Me neither! The whole point of soaps, IMO, is to empower women, not to marginalize or demean them.

I'm just over weeping, crying, unstable Anna. I think Finola has either gone along with it or at times actively pushed for more emotion since she came back on contract in '12 to 'show her range' and show her affection for her scene partners like Mo, but it's unnecessary. It's been over ten years of this.

I'd have Anna quietly take back control of the local WSB under the table as spymaster while also publicly running the cop shop. Telling no one. A huge conflict of interest, but she's seen what happens when the Bureau is left to other men over and over, infiltrated by Victor Cassadine and the likes of Cullum and Sidwell. (I'd thought to have her take over the entire agency, but they're not going to erase "Z" so just leave it at the American branch I guess?) Anna has the flexible ethics for something like that and it could create a good scandal down the line.

It’s a shame, because she used to be at least a little calculating and less afraid of everything. All My Children got Anna more in character than this show has since her contract return. Certainly since the stuff with Valentin started, through all of Peter August as a real person and a ghost.

Lord...if they don't let weak whiny Anna go. Moreso since they appear to be setting up that Carly/Anna triangle with Val in the place First Brennan should have been.

Creating Anna Devane was one of the best things Pat Falken Smith ever did - for GH, and for soaps in general. Her Anna was tough and self-reliant, yet still fiercely feminine. I miss her.

Well, Vaughn is back. Lol. I guess he finally gets some closure. He's lucky he's hot or I would not pay attention to him at all and I basically just feel mid on him still.

The Joss monologue to late night guy was too much for me. Why does she actually have power? No, Joss is not impressive Late Night Man. You haven't been in PC long enough to know that.

Not Charlotte trying to do Brenda Barrett obnoxious sleeves over her hands!!! Not allowed. It's annoying when Brenda does it and she's a queen, not a test tube mutant. And trying to get Lulu to help her with her dad. I wish Lulu would literally give her a passport and a one way ticket to anywhere but Port Charles.

One thing I'll give him at least, he wasn't really playing it like a campy clown, which I was worried that he was going to do.

I understand Lulu's upset, but why say her whole relationship with fake Nathan was a lie? It wasn't. He really cared for her -- at least when the writers were going with the idea that Ryan Paevey would remain on the show. Cassius didn't fake anything with Lulu, and she should get that.

I think it's a slippery slope with Lulu. She's been violated so many times and Cassius lied to her. I don't think his feelings were a lie, but he wasn't being honest. I feel bad Lulu feels like she's worthless and unlovable because "Nathan" would never love her because of Maxie though. Hope Maxie and Spinelli are enjoying their vacay while chaos is happening in PC lol.

He had sex with her claiming to be someone else. She didn't consent to be with Cassius. If a person has "feelings" for someone but has nonconsensual sex with them, the "feelings" don't excuse the lack of consent. It's still rape.

I couldn't believe a real helicopter was used. Kudos to FV. I thought the action is decent too, especially for a current soap. I was shocked to see Joss actually shoot Callum with a SHOTGUN. Wow.

I agree Lulu was violated, but I still think it's more grey than outright rape. Tons of soap characters use false names, lies, manipulation, etc.. I think we always consider women as victims on this board, but there are plenty of men that have been seduced under false pretense and we aren't making a big deal out of that.

Since I know Sonny's history better than most guys on the show I will use him as an example. Did Hannah and Reese rape him? They were both using fake pretenses, names and motives, but everyone lols at that because Sonny deserves it. Hannah was literally assigned by the FBI to take Sonny down because she looked like Brenda. The whole point was to seduce Sonny on false narrative.
