-- Good episode that played the concert stuff as well as anyone could hope for.

-- The music? Meh. They were in tune and the moves were cute, but none of that was a wow. None of it showed me why they would have been huge back in the day, but I give the show props for all we got.

-- But $300. for premium seating? I don't think so.

-- Samantha made dance moves in her seat like a 30-year old.

-- Leslie breaks all the rules. When I saw her filming the concert -- she was the only one with her phone out -- I knew she was again the outlaw.

-- Best exchange of the episode was when Smitty told Martin "I always liked that jacket on you" and Martin replied, "I know." Simple, yet beautiful.

-- Ashley is a POS. Derek takes her for coffee and apologizes to her. She responds with attitude and cu_ntiness to everything he says. Then she twists his words and acts like he's blaming her for the break up. That's followed by her saying they're over and walking off like a bitch.

-- Why does Ashley care about Shanice and Derek? I hope Derek is done with her for good. She's a child. Let her put on her beret and pretend she's in Paris with Andre in between his visits to screw Dani.

-- Vanessa looked hilariously out of place at the hospital. She'd really go there like that to see Doug? The girl really acts like banging Joey on a casino table is what it takes to win.

-- I thought the cliffhanger was fine. When the next week's previews close the show, that becomes the cliffhanger for me.

I agree - this was a nice moment. When they saw each other in this moment... it was the first time I actually felt something for this couple and it made me happy.

Unpopular opinion, which I always seem to give on this board, but I think TT was served better when she was playing Jessica Griffin on ATWT during the Douglas Marland years then she's been given here at BTG.   When I looked at Jessica Griffin, I saw an actual fully fleshed out character played with strength and conviction... while Anita Dupree is basically a caricature that TT is trying to infuse with her talent.. and the writing isn't helping any.

I'm hoping Derek finally has closure from Ashley and can move on without the added weight of Ashley and her neurotic tendencies on his shoulders.  I wonder what Jan thinks of the break up since she seemed on Derek's side more so then her daughter's side in terms of their relationship.

I mean, no songwriter is going to waste a potential hit record on a fictional daytime soap group. I'm just happy we got to hear some actual music from them - I wouldn't mind if they threw it up on streaming.

I agree the group number and the solo were forgettable.

But the staging with just a few extras was effective.

Did not like Dani's outfit at all.

The concert, if that's what it was supposed to be called, was so remarkably cheesy that all that was needed was a side of crackers. But I appreciated the effort since I suppose it was needed after watching weeks of these women at odds with each other. I hope this marks the end of this storyline, and Tracy and Sharon can both return to Chicago with better self-esteem than when they arrived. Back to Martin's storyline now, because there's clearly unfinished business there.

She looked a mess. KM is stunning enough to pull off a lot of looks, but that isn’t one of them.

The music was about as good as I’d expect from a soap. Thankfully, the songs were short, and yes, the staging was good. GH, take notes.

Ashley would have been better served if more characters had acknowledged from the beginning that she’s kind of an anal, selfish beeyotch. She’s SO unlikable.

What was that ending? I thought maybe something went wrong with my Paramount+.

The previews did look promising. I’m on the fence about MG, but I’m looking forward to that Hayley/Dani scene.

Jason Graham is kind of a hidden gem as Dr. Doug. I appreciate his more naturalistic delivery.

The event was cheesy, but I didn't mind it. It's okay to have easy-going episodes here and there for family-focused moments and fun character interactions. The whole week felt like that to me. I wish the Articulettes had chosen a song that resonated with some other characters' feelings during the montage. Like an old-school soap.

Andre looked so handsome. Dude is moving up on my radar, could this be my fave male character? Let's see...

Hello Carlton! So happy to see you, almost forgot about you too.

TMG is a fine for this show. Her usage in this episode, while fun, was very similar to the way she was being used at the anniversary party. The setup with Eva running in yet again, trying to stop her, the writers could do a better job with her scenes, because it takes away from her performance.

The cliffhanger or the promo doesn't excite me.

Did anyone catch Anita's line yesterday about the studio in her home:

"We added it when the prices were a little astronomical." 😆

Was this supposed to make Anita relatable? We know Anita didn't come from privelege and she grew up in struggle, but she found stardom young and is clearly very rich. I was like really? Oh yeah, I have a whole studio in my home, but don't get it twisted...I got it when prices were less outrageous....Okay girl.

It was fun to see the characters mingling in a new environment and they all looked great. Just emphasizes the need for more communal spaces on BTG

It was for sure. Much needed!

The other part of this that I payed attention to was her getting snippy with Andre when he told her something like he never saw or knew about that studio in her home. Anita was like "why would you?" It was like she was shading him. "You might be sleeping with my daughter but you ain't family."

I got that too!

You could be right; Anita has all the makings to be the Erica Kane of this show, and for whatever reason, I feel they dropped the ball on that. I am ready for the music stuff to be over. We need a story that digs into her family and bloodline. Where are her siblings and relatives? She looks amazing, though.

I happen to agree. He's great. I hope they don't kill him because that would be another missed opportunity.

Same. They have done such a good job with him. Interesting for a recurring character.

Same. The Dupree family moments (not to mention events on this show) have gotten few and far in-between over the last three months so nice to have another one. And a fun one at that. It takes me back to the start of the show when we were getting an event a week. And more family moments every other week.
