I love her positive outlook on it; ah, Michele, never change! Please!

I am trusting that CBS is doing what they feel is the right thing to do, whether it's agreed with or not. I'm putting my trust in them, the same way I have since the soap was announced.

Yet another reason not to trust the network. and since their social media is so lacking it isn’t like they will provide any bonus content. I feel like they are taking the audience for granted or just don’t care with this sort of behavior.

I've seen short daily clips here:

And lots pf highlights here

Y&R recently did a huge promotion for behind-the-scenes of the Y&R summer storyline that's 6 minutes long --
(Link to the promotion)
so CBS does have the ability to promote if they want to.

Eps 1-5.

Means viewers can watch Ted #1 again.

At least a full week of repeats means that the days are not further out of sync.

@Errol, to you know if CBS remembered to tell CHCH.com ?

I learned recently that W.Network in Canada gets batches of DAYS episodes early, ready to queue up to broadcast on the designated date.   And possibly same situation with CTV for B&B.

That's why I'm wondering about CHCH.com

No offense.. sometimes you need to go above your pay grade in order to find out something so this whole 'that's above my pay grade' is a cop out.

Knowledge is power.

I did not get the impression she did not know about the preemption there. But I also doubt she'd come out and say 'we're retooling y'all!'

There are plenty of things on the show that need changing. But it's also not yet six months old. I welcome its break. They need to improve a number of elements.

They're currently filming the week of November 16th so I don't think they're retooling. At least, I don't think that's the reason for the break. They have more than enough episodes where if they needed to take a break and retool, they could. Now with that said, I do think we'll see some retooled storylines considering the writing staff has had a shake up.

The more I think about this and the more I think it's just a way to keep the episodes in sync due to all of the previous preemptions. Nothing else really makes sense.

What would you like to see on their social media?

Unless we hear otherwise, I'm just assuming this is to save money by not paying to produce shows to air during slow holiday weeks, which doesn't bode well for late summer, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. CBS has skin in the game on the production here. It's really not a good precedent at all.

Honestly I'm so behind with IRL stuff vs. the show that a week off sounds like just what I need to play catch-up lol.

I’m going to use the time to get caught back up on Days.
