CBS has published all five episodes of Beyond the Gates: Welcome to the Neighborhood on YouTube for anyone who has yet to watch it. However, I don't believe it's available outside the U.S.

Without saying anything specific, I loved all the episodes I had the privilege of watching before the premiere. However, episode four, and especially episode five, is where the show truly sets itself off. Things are really in place for the characters and make sense for the audience if you still had questions.

So much focus has been put on the first episode since a traditional pilot is one episode but with this being a soap, I've been really curious about how the week will play out. I'm sure it'll take us a week to meet most of the characters and get a feel for the pacing of the show. I'm happy to hear you were pleased with it!

New soaps just need time to breathe. The first episode (or few episodes) will be set-up and introductions to characters and their baseline relationship dynamics. Daily soaps need time to simmer and build, that's especially true for a new daytime soaps. We need some time to care about these characters before we get invested in the mess they're in.

I plan on watching the first episode live again, but will post thought this afternoon around 2pm that I had from the Paley Center screening last Thursday.

I will be interested in what you have to say. Your thoughts are always on point.

Today’s the day! 🎉🎉

It’s still a little unbelievable to me. As much I wanted it to happen, I truly thought we’d never get a new soap again. And as a soap fan, I couldn’t be happier that this is happening. Not just for the cast and crew but for soap fans, and especially all of us, in general.

Good luck! 👍

And now that we basically have a full daytime lineup of soaps again, all I can do is think of the last line of Knots Landing, “Just like old times, isn’t it?”

I’m definitely looking forward to this show. Watched all the preview shows last week and have my DVR set for it.

Now I just need to decide whether to avoid spoilers or not…

i thought that BTG will be a 30min soap. But as i heard in the Welcome to the Neighbourhood - Specials the episodes are 1hour long?

I don't think they even considered half hour & I bet it's about monetization.

I'll try to watch live on Paramount before I go out in the afternoon (and then run the replay when it goes up, just to support the show). Annoyed I'll be three hours behind the live feed for this - the perils of time zones.
