I don’t know how accurate this is, but an Entertainment Weekly article published today reports:

The soap is currently on hiatus and was scheduled to restart production this coming Monday. However, they have extended their pause by a week due to fallout from the investigation.

I just sent a tweet to the author asking for clarification. Maybe she will reply.

Based on the tone of that post, I wonder if Ari is still with the show. A lot of past tense.

Part of me feels like Arianne Zucker is no longer at Days of Our Lives. I have that genuine feeling.

She could be taking some time off because she's getting married.

I do believe the extension is referring to this week.

IT IS NOW FRIDAY EVENING...THERE HAS BEEN NO WORD OF ALBERT ALARR'S TERMINATION...NOW THE QUESTION BECOMES: WILL ANY CAST SHOW UP TO WORK NEXT WEEK, OR WILL "DAYS" BE FORCED TO SHUT DOWN PRODUCTION FOR ANOTHER WEEK?

Thank you to all the "Days" fans this week for making phone calls and taking time to email Corday Productions and Peacock executives. It is so nice that this show has such a wonderful group of fans who care about the cast & crew! Hopefully, your voices, as well as that of the cast petition, will be heard and we can get back to talking about the show we all love!

That's fantastic!

It's about damn time, too. Janet Drucker seems to be a good choice, even though cast named someone else they'd like.

Thank goodness but awful how long it went on and the damage it caused.

Yeah, over 20 years. I hope the cast got more of an apology then that letter.

The good news is, Ms. Drucker has been there since 1990 in multiple producer-type roles, so this is a good sign for cast and crew that someone is finally there that knows how things should be run.

And it would have continued to go on had someone not leaked the story to deadline, because all the report suggested was more training!
