Good for NC!  I never thought he would stay past his initial contract, but that's a great oppurtunity for him.  I actually think Chavez will be a big thing someday.

I am pretty sure @Vee or @Darn mentioned the little girl playing Violet and her lisping and I have never paid attention.  I feel bad being mean about a kid, but I can't understand what the hell that little girl was saying today.  Since GH has employed MB as a lead for 30 years I know enunciation isn't a big concern for TPTB, but I am sure there's a little cute blond girl out there that can perform Violet's role so I can understand what's she's saying.  And I was confused how Violet and Liz got close enough to call her "Aunt Elizabeth" until I realized Elizabeth was actually her Aunt lol.   Ugh.....

Someone is going to have to walk me through why Spencer hates Dex.  I know he has forever, but is it because of Cam?  Or does he just hate him because of reasons?

Frank thinks it's adorable and showcases her.

I'm happy for Chavez but also a bit sad because there's almost no chance he stays now, and recasting Spencer is not going to be pretty.

I am sure it's adorable in real life, but on tv I prefer to understand what the character is trying to say.  I know it was nothing important.  I am just already annoyed with Michael Easton/Liz scenes and Violet only cranks that annoyance up to 10.  Especially in an episode where I had to watch Carly/Drew's undying love and Ava/Roger Howarth talk about whatever nonsense they are up to.  Trina/Spencer can't save everything in an episode.

Congrats too

If SAG strikes soon then this series will be put on hold til SAG strike ends

Also Im sure he got the Ok to do this given he is still under contract at GH until June 2024

Im sure they will work it out shooting wise

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.

    • Opal having siblings could add to the story. However, it raises questions about Tad's adoption. Why were the Martins allowed to adopt him if Tad had aunts or uncles who could have cared for him?  Logic limited the number of possible Gardner's (and whatever Opal's maiden name was).  Even though Linda Thorson would have been a hysterical choice given her British accent.  Especially because SOD often published questions by readers who wondered why Tad and Jenny didn't speak like their mother.   All of which is still not an excuse for Tad's evil doppelgänger Ted.
    • And if I remember correctly, at one point, they were considering having Linda Thorson play Opal's sister.
