Considering the character appeared as a ghost for six months as a vision of Tricia's (when played by Rick Hearst), and Diane herself is alive after an exhausting whodunit (when played by Maura West), it wouldn't be impossible to bring Matt back. Heck, with so many twins (even if they don't look alike) created for storyline purposes by daytime writers...again, not far-fetched.

To be clear, I'm not saying Matt is coming back. I just wish he would -- only as played by Eddie Cibrian.

Easy.  Carter Mills wasn't really Matt Clark.

(By the way, I'm not saying I love the idea of bringing back Matt.  I'm just offering my hunch.)

I admit I didn’t get to watch JT’s return closely. Did they mention at all if he was still with Mac? They have kids together now, no?

I prefer Sharon’s mystery story to be a Matt Clark revisited v. Cameron, especially if Eddie was up for it.

Sidenote, I did not know Eddie was a California kid and knew Tori Spelling since high school. They even went on a date. I wonder if that helped him get cast on Sunset Beach.

@AMCHistoryno, they didn't mention whether JT is with Mac. The scene is very brief. He looks bulked up with longer hair and kind of does look like he's been in jail and lived hard. He said he would be willing to do the podcast because Elena let him think Victoria signed off, but refuses to come to GC.

I am not caught up but I have to say I really liked the scene the other day when Sharon and Mariah talked about how it's akward when people ask them how many children they have.

The Sharon/Mariah scene was great! I even liked the Chelsea/Adam/Connor scene. The show seems a little more watchable to me lately. At least compared to last year.

Sally is just Sage all over again to me. It's the same storyline basically but feels more incestuous.

Elena should hook up with JT. It would be surprising & shake things up.

Chance & Summer need to screw.

I hope Matt Clark is returning!!! But I bet it's Cameron because of the Susan Walter's connection.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
