Have you watched B&B? Woof! Oh! We're talking sound! I'm so sorry. I thought it was the repititive dialogue like B&B that holds true. Umm ... there should be complaints on the wardrobe department on this one. If Kayla could just speak out and say: "Hello? You talk about poor? Look at what I'm wearing!"

To which, I would've replied: "AMEN! You said it, sister! RESPECT!"

I know nothing about production, but I wonder if it's something that happens in editing?  Because on those Sloan/Eric scenes their audio seemed to be behind as well.  It didn't match their mouths lol.  Not that any of this makes it acceptable, but it seems like it's not confined to one set.

Though the rest of the episode was a little…

Abe being the spoiler for Jada and Rafe is stupid. If Jada was still in Eric’s orbit, and still pregnant with his child, that would be a much better conflict for her and Rafe. 

And Chanel/Sloan was stupid too. I think I would enjoy this storyline more if it wasn’t written like some big joke

I didn’t mind the slap, but the fight itself was stupid and unfunny. I would rather have seen a real brawl, instead of one that was just played for laughs. 

As for Leo, the less said about him, the better

Everything about this show is painful. 

Ron just wrote whatever sh!t he wanted to in order to keep Leo around.

He should've left long time ago. He never should've returned in the first place.

Today wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, though this biscuit stuff is so pointless and contrived. They did look good though, they looked like the ones you get at Popeyes

There were a lot of decent scenes today, especially Wendy/Li and Johnny/Chanel.

Jessica Serfaty and Remington Hoffman still need some work, but I was totally Team Li and Team Sloan today. I like that they’re giving Sloan more of a personality and more vulnerability. That’s what makes her rootable. 

Chanel encouraging Johnny was nice too. And I did like Johnny listing all of Tripp’s great qualities

I thought today was relatively watchable, too. Totally agree on the biscuits! LOL. 

I liked Sloan telling Eric off. In general, I like what they've done with them. It's the most interesting side relationship they've given Eric away from Nicole. It's not a long-term thing, but they've hit some decent character beats.

I was howling at EJ barking about Melinda, "This... this... civil servant!"

      Brooke did ads before ATWT too. That probably helped get her the job. After ATWT she seemed to branch more into hosting, along with ads.  I think I saw Kelley in an ad or two, but you're right she wasn't on as much.

        Thanks for sharing these. I wonder if Charles might have been in the running for Adam. I know Preacher was a bit of a bad boy at times on EON, but Neal seemed to be a step down, and Robert Lupone had played a similar part on AMC. Given the huge cast turnover at this point I wonder who thought they had been there long enough to go.  Laura Malone/Chris Rich would get a remote within the next year.

      Under all of Madonna's social media today there is this wave of negative, toxic, absurd comments by Lady Gaga fans telling her how Gaga surpassed her in concert in Copacabana. I mean...       FYI, again, Ruth/Letitia is not in either of these 2 episodes. So that concludes the 4 episodes I had from Nov. 1983. I don't have the October episodes.

      Eddie has begun uploading the 1990 episodes. I'm so happy about that. I was mindfully taking a break till there's plenty of episodes I can binge watch when I feel like it. Now that 1989 is complete... I can't wait to press play on February 1989 and resume where I left off.

      This is just a guess but I feel like the fact that they keep mentioning her dead husband is for a reason. We know Martin has a secret that likely involved someone dying. Martin's victim could be Alan which Leslie/Dana either knows about or finds out and she uses that to blackmail the family into letting her crimes slide.

      Just thinking how the Ruth/Leticia guest spot really cemented how Days had changed. Stunt casting with a campy/comedy character in a 'wacky' storyline was something that a few years previously would have been completely out of place on Days (and most other soaps for that matter).
