OHHH haha - I absolutely LOVE her. I think her name is Loretta Divine....but anyway yeah she was the cop in both movies, was in Boston Public (one of my fav. former TV shows), was in CRASH, and was the voice of that one TV show with the Apartment Super - I think done by Eddie Murphy or some comic like him.

Little Miss Sunshine. Such a darkly themed comedy on real life and the struggles every american family deals with. Dark in theme but man you'll be laughing your ass off through some parts. Well acted, well written. Definately going to be an oscar contender for Screenplay IMO.

On the plane ride home yesterday, I saw this French Canadian flick "La Peau Blanche" ("White Skin"). Afterwards, I didn't know whether I liked it or not. It's semi-horror but more on the disturbing rather than the ahh scary side. It's about this guy who falls in love with this girl who has really pale skin. I won't spill about what the movie's all about but all I gotta say is: gotta love those weird "foreign" films.

I also saw half of "L'Audition" ("The Audition") before the end of the flight and the lead actor reminds me a lot of a French version of Al Pacino.

This time, I saw an old Lifetime flick with Suzanne Somers. "Exclusive." It was an A-MAZING thriller about a news anchor who has a stalker after her, a husband with a mysterios dangerous past and one HELL of a shocker that you just DO NOT see coming. I highly recommend that you ALL rent or buy it!! It'd be a GREAT date movie.

That was such a good movie. The stalker's identity was a total surprise. It had lots of twists and turns that kept you guessing.

I watched "Terror Train" last night. I picked up the DVD at Circuit City for 10.99. It's a slasher movie from 1980 starring Jamie Lee Curtis about college kids being terrorized by a psycho on a train on New Year's Eve. While it's not scary, there is a big scene that is just very creepy and unsettling to watch. The camerawork is very stylish and glossy looking too.

    • Yep. Access to the Vault works fine but upon downloading attempts an error message pops up.   Maybe it is just a temporary glitch.

    • I'm pretty sure this ep is  from Dec 73 From the Daytime Serial Newsletter Ian and Valerie Northcote are deeply concerned over Laurie's  life being increasingly dominated by hallucinations and fantasies about Georgina, the former owner of the house the Reddins recently bought and are now living in. Doreen Post (Linda Purl) was involved in that story .Perhaps she was going to be revealed as Georgina's daughter? Wonder how that story evolved and whether it was wrapped up before cancellation? and thanks to @skylark

    • Many thanks to @skylark and @DRW50!
    • Thank u so much! I love that show and the more I see of it the more I want to find more of it even if it’s just in script form. But that house and especially the room looked like Victoria Winters room from dark shadows lol  this was great find! Thanks
    • I genuinely thought when they said she had been throwing up, we were going to get a pregnancy story. I’m actually not convinced we aren’t. Especially the way she and Doug danced around her own infidelity.
    • Shouldn't it be the other way? I don't think Taylor Hayes is playing Rebecca Budig.

    • And the most detailed discussion I've seen from an industry figure about some of JFP's worst choices as a producer (steamrolling over writers) was from another woman, Megan McTavish.
    • IMDb is definitely incorrect, because the final week of episodes in 1974 is uploaded to Youtube in audio form, and Mark and Laurie are there until the very end. The last episode shows Mark going back to the priesthood. I looked at the newspaper and the earliest reference to their house being haunted by Georgina is in December of 1973. This is dated Dec 14, but this same synopsis ran in the papers until the end of December in other publications. So it must have been within those last 3-4 months. I think Stephanie Braxton joined around 1969-1970 so that's probably right. I saw it stated in other newspapers that David Gale joined around September 1972.
