Definitely an improvement over the 2016 cast shoot, however, I do wish they wouldn't do this glam-looking thing every single time. Not to mention, the cast photo is already outdated, LOL!

I guess there aren't enough gold dresses in retail to dress the whole cast, but on Bravo they photoshop the cast photo so that everyone's dress is in the same color tone which would have been a good idea to add more interest to this image

Oh no no. That would have looked bad, and everyone would have just melted into the backdrop. It's one of the problems I have with the last two cast shoots they've done.

The women on the whole looked better dressed than on the show. Good to see Melissa Ordway in a one shouldered dress. Gotta keep that up.

Beth Maitland always gets those mother of the bride/larger lady looks. They need to think out of the box in dressing her.

Yes I'm really not sure what was the point of having Bill BFTD. Sure it provided some short term drama, but it didn't seem to go over well and Bill was off the show again in less than ayear.
If they wanted to add some more Bauers eg Hillary there were probably other ways of doing it. Use the time that Mike was off the show in the early 60's for example to give him a son.

Madeline raised Nathan and Nina with her husband, real estate tycoon Dan Reeves. They adopted Nathan from Obrecht.
Steve apparently has decided Latest Kelly (Thiebaud) is on strip club rules. He can touch her (barely) but she will not touch him!! Insane that I think we're supposed to believe Jason and Britt have fùcked twice in the last week but we basically saw none of it, to the point that the audience was unsure what exactly happened. For a couple whose entire rep was built on Steve's one explicit heated love scene in almost two decades, this is (as I have noted before) not promising for Britt given her return's already dreadful reception. I wonder what changed BTS. Even BLQ and Chase's love scenes (or Jason's more typical ones with Sam, etc.) show a bit more action than what we're getting here.

Oh, I very much love it. And AB. I wish they had paired Ivy with Liam since he needed something to do both times it came up. And it seems like we have Ivy for a bit so it would be nice to see her branch out as something other than Electra's guardian. But I agree this prudish morality side of her is different and makes me think of when they finally gave Lindsey Godfrey's Caroline a personality that was deliciously wicked.

I think that is why I like her so far as well. She could go either way AND is a have-not.

@Taoboi B&B's catch-phrase of the month 'That's not proper!' It's like Brad intentionally creates these drinking games. While I've always liked AB, I've mostly disliked Ivy, until now. AB is truly channeling Stephanie's elitism and prudish morality in such a commanding way. I do wish they would've paired Ivy/Liam at least for a spell.
I do love everyone now calling her 'Miss Dylan'. I'm actually liking SB - she plays her scenes with a certain openness that's refreshing. Even though it won't last, it's been nice having a have-not character on canvas. I'm half-expecting that it'll be revealed that she's one of Sheila's grandkids!
@Liberty City ITA the love is completely out of place with TayCon. It cheapens it. If Taylor truly wants to neutralize Sheila's alleged revenge, she should get James back in LA!
Minor critiques aside, this show is definitely in the best shape in years. There are multiple stories with different angles and it seems that every character is tied to a current story - except for Zende, of course!

I am curious to see if they will truly play out how chemo can suck out your energy and it's difficult to get back to feeling like yourself again.

I think that the show wants to avoid the idea that Black women don't have long hair, because many do. Anita's hair being curly could easily be explained as her using heat straightening where a simple wash would revert the hair to a natural state. Of course further hair loss is going to be expected but symbolically cutting it was Anita taking control of fate by not prolonging the process of hair coming out in clumps. With a shorter cut there is less hair to come out.

Speaking of Andre....mmmmm those pants he had on today.

Don't get me wrong. I agree. What I meant was that there was a looooooong period where it was just the SPS/Eva show where they got propped or stayed winning just a little too much for some when the show should have been about the Duprees. It wouldn't have annoyed me much personally, except for the fact that outside of Dani, the other three didn't have ANY storylines going on. And those were the people who the audience want to see...not to mention who the show is built around. It wouldn't have been so noticeable if there were stronger stories going on, but Joey/Vanessa was the only well-constructed B plot that could hold attention when it was in the spotlight IMHO.

So I'm happy for the pivot. All four have storylines going on (though I could use some Dark Vernon) and we have plenty going on again that we don't need them in every episode. It does seem like the audience is responding more (and showing up more) thanks to said pivot.

I hear you.

For me the mistake is pretending that Anita's long hair was her own. Didn't we all assume that was a wig? It was a great wig and looked good on her, but it was clearly a wig.
Now we're supposed to pretend that was her real hair. Huh? Dani cuts it and all of a sudden Anita's long straight hair turns curly -- and there's no mention of further hair loss.
I realize we might hear more about this. BTG has surprised us with more in the past. I'm just concerned this wasn't fully thought out.
I've said before that I don't want the show to be cancer heavy, but I also don't want the show to cover real issues in an unrealistic way.
Anita already gets a private room for her chemo treatments. You've brought up a hair loss treatment that these people should know about and can afford.
Am I nitpicking again? Yeah, I am, because serious issues shouldn't be treated with anything less than the truth. If they can't do that, I'd rather not see it at all.
