DAYS: BB + VK definitely could be Hope's children. Seeing Carrie and Anna on Beyond Salem reminded me how believable they are as mother/daughter.  

B&B: as noted, they have this category nailed for the most part - except for Liam/Wyatt + Bill. However, LG's Caroline 2.0 looked like JJ's daughter.  

While she looked nothing like Jeanne Cooper, I always thought Ashley Bashioum (Mac, Y&R) bore a strong resemblance to Beau Kazer (Brock).

GH- none of Sonny's children, minus Dante, look like they have any ounce of Latino in them.

I mean it's better than KL playing John/Isabella's son on Days.  Isabella/John would never have a blonde haired  kid, even if facially he looks a little like John.  I'd buy him as John/Marlena's kid, but not Italian/Greek Isabella's kid.

Sean Kanan, Chad Duell, Steve Burton look related

Out of all Reva and Josh's kids Jeff Branson looks the most like those two actors 

Shemar Moore and Kristoff St John

Anyhow, there are a lot of families on soaps that don't look alike, but I will say my pick will always be Brenda and Julia Barrett.  There is no way they are even half sisters lol.

 

Well, technically, they were acting together before they found that out. And didn't they only find out because so many fans pointed it out. I would think it counts and it was the first guys who came to mind when I saw this thread.

 

Excellent casting that led to them diving into their family tree. 

I definitely agree about Deidre Hall and the Brady kid actors - especially when Jensen Ackles was playing Eric.

GL's Jordan Clarke and Bryan Buffington come to my mind as being believable as father and son.





On the the other hand, DOOL's Steve Johnson and Jack Deveraux, not much of a resemblance there.

When Trevor St John first started on OLTL I thought he resembled Peter Krause 

Low and behold Trevor play Peter's father on Dirty Sexy Money for 1 episode

When Lindsey Morgan was Kristina there looked to be some kind of connection between them. As for the other children... they definitely favour Ava & Carly more than Sonny. Not to mention, I did see Chad Duell (Michael) & Sean Kanan (ex-AJ) as father and son.

Neither did Cruz's kids on SB! I never could understand why they couldn't hire a baby/toddler of Latino heritage.

Ted Shackleford, Patrick Duffy, and Larry Hagman I couldn't buy as being related to each other

I had to really suspend disbelief 

Adrienne Frantz (Amber) and Andrea Evans (Tawny) were believable as daughter/mother on B&B.

On the opposite, Jack Wagner and Lesley-Anne Down as son/mother were ridiculous. Nick also didn't look like Jackie and Massimo's son.

The short-term faux-Bridget who was in the role for a couple of months in 2004 looked more like a young Brooke than Jennifer Finnigan or Ashley Jones ever did.

KKL, Heather Tom and Jennifer Gareis don't look like sisters.

On Melrose Place, Josie Bissett and Laura Leighton were believable as sisters Jane and Sydney (even though Jane later turned out to be adopted🤣).
