I don’t feel any heat between Theo and Ciara. She needs a strong leading man type, and that’s not Theo. He belongs with a softer, less dominant female, or frankly, with another guy. It’s no stretch to see Theo as gay.

 

And Ben moving from Ciara to Claire? Huh? Hard pass on that. She comes off as his 2nd cousin who he sees at the family reunion every July.

And the actress who plays Claire is a weak actor. Two weak actors in Ben and Claire don't work.

Yeah, he is, but couldn’t they have cast a better device or written one? It’s not believable that she’d leave town with Theo this quickly.

Of course now we have the reason they turned her so vanilla: BECAUSE they wanted her and Ben to be the next option.

They are ruining the character of Theo here. He is doing Ciara no favors here If anything, she should go to Hope. Then when RSW wants to bounce, Ciara can return, memory intact

i don’t see Theo as ruined, but I do see him as sacrificed. If and when Ciara returns, she and Theo won’t be endgame. He’s being used here — and badly, since I don’t find their instalove believable anyway.

Agreed,  I think Theo is being the same Theo as always.  Kind, Decent, a great friend, best friend to Ciara.   I remember when they were kids thinking they'd end up together.  I like Ciara & Ben, but like the chemistry between Ciara and Theo, and the current storyline makes sense.   I don't get the gay comment about Theo at all.  Just wishful thinking on someone's part imho. 

I’m thinking that Ron was hoping that fans would see Theo as the bad guy in this whole situation, but it’s clearly not working. Only the hardcore Cin fans feel that way.
