Today's episode was really good. It was nice to see Bill/Katie again, and even though I think she's a selfish idiot, I thought the Zoe scenes were on point as well.

And the best part of all: no Hope/Liam/Steffy

I just saw it - it's another Katie the Crier/Heather Tom Emmy reel.  I wish they'd give her some kind of backbone and say - yeah, Bill, I know you're sorry.  Now go sleep with Brooke because that's what you're after.  No thanks.  I saw Paris for the first time today - Zoe is a total witch that needs to be buried after everything she's done.  Why is this actress on this show?  She's terrible.  If I were watching regularly I'd bring back Sasha and Nicole.

I'm just tired of seeing Liam make that dumb face. Ugh. I want to like the assless Finn, but he forgave Steffy, do I'm done.

This show needs new blood! How about a modeling agency?! That way you can bring in a bunch of new characters, and when they don't work you can just drop them, and if they do, you can weave them on.

That Zoey is a real piece of work. When she just walked right into the unlocked front door of the Forrester mansion without so much as a knock... this bold ass heifer. I don’t like how this makes Carter look like a dolt. And here you have Donna salivating over him, well B&B stop telling us how great of a catch he is and give him a romance of substance.

Did anyone catch how Steffy cut the obgyn off before she could say the word period/cycle/monthly or what have you? It felt like a very pointed writing choice and seemed so odd for a daytime serial aimed at women where ads for feminine products are famously advertised.

Lol at the closed captioning. Bill quipped that Liam is “the man dressed like a grape” and the captioning read “the manager who is like a grape”. Kudos to B&B’s writing team if this is what they’re going for, but the scenes with Bill and Katie and basically any scene with Liam really drive home the old adage, “Men ain’t sh!t.” Just completely selfish, manipulative, petty, jealous men who bandage their bruised egos with another vagina.

I feel like we’ve heard Bill use those same words in every past apology to Katie. Bell does a copy-and-paste with old scripts, and it sucks.

Zoe is an awful person. I sure hope they want us to hate her, because if that’s not their goal, the character is a big fail.

Actually, the idea for an modeling agency would be a breath of fresh air. Hire a soap vet that who owns and runs the agency.

Perhaps that way you can get new characters who work for the agency. That way you can bring on a new family who owns/runs the business too.

It's time for Katie to get a new man who isn't Bill. I'm sorry, but if Katie is going to look dumb if/when she takes back Dollar Bill's ass one more time. Maybe Katie can fall for the guy who runs for the modeling agency. However, the guy's ex-wife who runs the agency along with him doesn't want Katie with her ex because she is still in love with him. And she teams up with Bill to break them up. But she and Dollar Bill find themselves hooking up themselves.

But we're not going to get anything that nuanced sadly.

My thoughts exactly. "Oh this was written so Heather Tom has an Emmy reel."  Quite honestly, I forgot Bill/Katie were separated. They way they've been telling stories since returning from quarantine, it's easy to forget where we left off with the other half of the cast.

I didn't see any of today but damn Zoey/Scary Spice was a THIRSTY THOT.  I was expecting her to start stripping at any second and rape Zende.  Girl can't take no for an answer.  And then when she threatened her sister?  Paris should have told her to buzz off and then go right to Ridge and tell him what Zoey has threatened and what she's been doing.  She doesn't care about Carter at all and she's trying to get into Zende's pants.

And I didn't get Zoey just waltzing into the Forrester mansion.  Did she ring the door bell?  I think she just walked in.  I really wish they'd write some real dialog and have had Zende say - "You are THIRSTY and DESPERATE.  Get OUT."

What you NOT gonna do to me!
    • Bravo to every single person responsible for today's episode. From the writer on down to Kraft services. Yall I'm getting emotional but I wish my granny was here to have seen this soap since she was the one to introduce me to this medium.

    • Everything is fraught with confusion. Why is Leslie pleading with the Duprees to accept Eva? She's not biological family so what is this? She's the product of an affair with their in-law so Leslie wants them to accept her? I'm getting GOOD TIMES vibes of Leslie and Eva minus the physical abuse.
    • Big fan of today's writing. In particular, I like EJ complexity, crying over Johnny and conspiring at the same is tough to pull off in the same episode, but it goes very far in explaining EJ's motives. I don't hate the idea of Cat and EJ, and I especially appreciate everyone trying to warn her, but she is sticking to the plan. Boy oh boy, when Brandon Beemer wears a shirt that matches his eyes, I get lost in the screen!
    • Yeah, I think that Leslie's speech would have had a bit more of an impact if Ted had been the Dupree's son, with Nicole being the daughter in law they loved like a daughter. But being that he's the son in law, and that Eva (at least not right now) isn't technically a Dupree, it doesn't hold as much weight. They aren't caring much for Ted right now and their feelings could be trickling down to Eva. Though, I do think they have some sympathy for her. I really enjoyed today's show. Loved a stripped, down hurt but still strong in her resolve Nicole. DD continues to shine and shows why she is IMO the heart of the show. I felt her words, and anger at Ted and how she broke down in Kat's arms at the end. She is just wonderful all the way around. I also loved the way that Anita read Leslie. She was spot on about her and how mishandled everything with Ted and Eva. And speaking of Leslie... I immediately thought the same thing once I saw that scene. That what she exhibited was trash behavior. I don't think she's a good mother. In fact, I think she's lousy. Granted, I have missed some episodes, but I haven't really seen her do anything to indicate that she really cares for Eva or her well being. All she's really done is try and manipulate/use Eva for her own agenda since she came to town.
    • I thought Brandon C was much more believable as Martin today.  Before, I watched an actor trying to portray a character.  Friday and today, I simply felt the character.
    • The way Leslie uses her love shower Eva with and then snatches it away when Eva doesn’t do what she wants is something that should be focused on down the road.    Great end to the episode overall and kudos to the writing and production team for carefully executing all of this.

date: Monday, May 5 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Anthony Pascarelli Dana is certifiably insane. Beyond insane. And I oop... Anita is about to pop off on her, and this is where it gets good. Oh God, Deadbeat, stop while you're ahead. You are not one to talk with how you treat your husband and children. Settle. Go on, Nicole. Tell Theodore exactly who his busted ass is. Not Dana comparing herself to those she's compared herself to. Damn, Katherine is really putting Eva beyond the bottom of her shoe with her insults. Savage, but deserved, because she called out Eva the first day. She knew, and not a single person believed her. Oh, Theodore, how dare you try and play yourself on the same level as Nicole; it's completely different. Mama Anita is up to bat, and she's going to come out swinging. And she delivered it to Dana in the way only the matriarch of a family could. Nicole kicking Theodore out "day by day" is everything. She's not taking this anything but day by day. W H E W... Katherine telling Eva she's dead to her. Wow. That's got to cut. Dana locking Eva's ass out and drinking her wine in her robe is the ultimate villain. True villain. Notes: Anyone trying to sell that Brandon Claybon (Martin) has improved in his acting must be lying, because this is laughable and bad. Next up for recast: the role of Martin Richardson. Omg. It's so damn bad. This man cannot act. At all. He's got to GO! Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is showing how much she's been missed from daytime. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) once again gave an award-winning performance in her scenes. Outstanding, standout star! The montage with Tamara Tunie (Anita) singing "Amazing Grace" was a brilliant touch to wrap up the episode, and to allow us the ability of moving on on Thursday.
    • That ending was beautifully done. Anita took us to church.
