If I had any faith in DAYS' long-term future (and/or RC's with the show), I could see a scenario where 10-20 years down the line (or really, whenever RSW is no longer the top stud), there's a revisiting of Ben's sins, how he supposedly evolved, belated atonement, etc.

True but this epi was supposed to air Tues Jan 12.  The episodes got pushed earlier by two airdates when the Nov 27 and Jan 1st hockey preemptions didn't happen (Hockey season postponed).

The thing that sucks the most about Ava's redemption is that Shawn Sr's death is going to be brushed off like it was nothing.

I think later in the week, Tripp is supposed to confront Charlie, which is long overdue. He should have been the hero in this story, not the serial killer

15 minutes in, and the dialogue is unusually bad and unnatural today.

Could have been better, but I've heard much worse on every soap including DAYS.

 

And yes Claire was quite stupid today and hypocritical considering the way that she treated Tripp all these months. But at the same time, I thought her reactions were believable because she's in love and love can make people stupid sometimes. Just ask Ciara, or Liz and Maxie on GH.

 

Mike Manning is still killing it. He uses his eyes so well and that really makes his performances top notch and believable.

Nah. Just some good acting, some bad acting and some writing that needed to be better. I think Tripp and Charlie's confrontation is going to be Thursday or Friday
