They're determined to make S2 unlikable - she was written as a complete psycho in Thursday's episode. It was all over the place just today S2 mentioned loving Wyatt, saving Wyatt from 'baby stealer,' sending flowers to Flo, how easy it was to manipulate Katie, actually having real symptoms, badgering that doctor, the WALKER and makeup.

Since B&B is literal - S2 'fake' sees a snake, we learn the only thing that scare her are snakes (really?) and Wyatt mentions that to Flo, who will like be on her way to an exotic pet store by Friday!

Bottom line: CH is great, despite this mess because Thally is really the goal here.

@ranger1rg I was fine with the twist when it appeared S2 was seeking revenge on Wyatt/Flo, using it to get her line in couture, etc. Instead, in only two episodes (since it wasn't featured for several), it's because she believes they are 'meant to be together.' Just yuk. Wyatt is not all that. I really don't get the arcane logic of soaps - that a woman still needs a man, even if he doesn't want her. Someone like Sally should be: "Wyatt you don't want me. No worries, I bet I can find 1000 hotter men in LA that would appreciate being a smart, creative designer who also has a rockin' body."

I'm only playing it out for two reasons: 1) B&B is only 23 minutes w/ads on CAA; and 2) we're going to go several weeks without original episodes soon.

I wonder if they'll show episodes that include RM as Ridge? I mean we're looking at least 30-40 repeats easily. Even though B&B has produced appr 1700 episodes since he left, but there's 33 full years available and episodes that would be interesting to watch.

Of course, CBS may pull Y&R/B&B repeats for games shows or special programming, which will probably do better in ratings. They won't go back to production until July 1.

Yeah, just when I so glad we FINALLY stopped with the Thomas/Hope madness now we have this foolishness with Sally which is unfortunate along with her now acting like she is the new Sheila. The goals of Sally wanting a leash on Wyatt and the doctor wanting to fulfill her dreams of being a "fashion designer at Forrester Creations" are just silly and utterly preposterous. Today's ep featured a scene where Katie and Steffy mope about poor Sally almost in the same way Liam and Hope mourned Emma's death, its just absurd.

Given that Thomas fake fell into a vat of acid, I wonder what Sally is going fake fall into?

For years I’ve wondered if Thorsten can shave.  It’s not that I don’t like him but damn:  it’s ok to shave once.

I’m watching reruns of talk shows rather than this mess.  Apparently other people are too from looking at the ratings.  Older guys are the ones watching BB and Y&R and their money doesn’t count.

    • Valerie Mahaffey Dead: ‘Northern Exposure,’ ‘Dead to Me’ Actress Was 71 I just loved Valerie on my early '90s TV shows. This one gets me.
    • I assume they did at some point during the finale...
    • Kelly was a horribly-written character overall. Just think, two Emmy-winning actresses (including Cynthia Watros, Nina, GH, and Annie, GL) couldn't make it work. Pamela is campy, but so are Dani, Vanessa, Leslie, and Joey. And, I don't want to be too judgy because my love for camp changes depending on the show. OLTL, DAYS, and some eras of GH had me rolling with the camp. However, Passions was overkill and I hated it. And, here, I can take it or leave it. It's ok in small doses (note to RC). I see this show as more of a serious drama.
    • I think one of the reasons that pilot didn't get picked up was because Vicki L was associated more with being Thelma Harper and playing older then she was playing her own age.  It was a blessing it didn't get picked up, or we would have been deprived of the syndicated era of Mama's Family.   Also, worth noting a Pre Night Court Marsha Warfield and pre Perfect Strangers Rebecca Arthur in the cast.  All talented women, but stuck with a bad script. And the other pilot had a pre Fran Fine.. Fran Drescher as the best friend.  I think that pilot might have been picked up if Karen Valentine and Fran Drescher switched roles.
    • So, on rewatch....did Rick and Mindy never have sex?
    • Cady had a fairly posh accent or manner as Rosanna - the character was a 180 from Dixie when she went to ATWT, and it was a huge success initially. As someone mostly only familiar with the nagging, miserable or clueless Dixie of the mid-late '90s and early 2000s it was what convinced me Cady could act. I thought she was incredible in her first run. Later, in future stints, her hair and story and performances were all over the place but a lot of that was down to the show for me. She brought some of Rosanna back with her to Dixie in her ill-fated return and a lot of people didn't like it, which I understood but I did think the character needed some change. I think she's had a little bit of the same persona and arch performance in every role she's played since, including Jennifer Horton at DAYS or Kelly at Y&R, who later became a maniac and was easily the worst work I've ever seen Cady do. It has kind of infected her overall mannerisms, I'll allow that, but I do think she brought Dixie back together as herself while still evolving the character when she returned to AMC again in 2012-13. Nonetheless, for me the upshot is that this is a character where Cady's kookier recent performance style suits the role. But I can understand it grating for people.
    • Yeah, Loretta Swit's passing stings. My late dad LOVED the show (he died last November) and watched it religiously. In first run and repeats.  And I was literally born the day after the show's premiere, so I grew up with it! I know many loved later, softer Margaret, but I loved Early Hot Lips. In real life, I'm all for less misogyny, but to me, the early years of M*A*S*H were just funnier. May Loretta Swit rest in peace. Thanks for all the memories connected to my dad!

    • I agree that she isn't Dixie or Rosanna and shouldn't be acting like either. I just found it strange that she had a naive Southern character and a wealthy urbane character in the past and didn't experiment with accents before (unless I missed it, correct me if I'm wrong). She used to do improv characters on YouTube. She's probably doing something similar here.
