SERIOUSLY????

Just more reason for me to worry even more with the 'official' reopening of California tomorrow.

I have a friend that lives in California and I advised her, because of her age and she's on dialysis, that she continue to wear a mask when she goes out, even though she's fully vaccinated.  Why take the risk?

Exactly!!

I had some good moments, but I didn't like how all of this space and people kept trying to be within my 6 feet with no mask.

Uh...No.

Happy I look good enough, but I don't do maskless, sagging pants people wanting to cruise (must be the heat lol) , or rude old folk calling me an a-hole for waiting for a trolley to stop moving. Stay that six feet.

I wonder if we will ever know the real number of people who have died from this disease world wide? So many countries giving false numbers (Russia, China) or simply don't have the numbers (India).

I bet a lot of people had Covid in those early months without either realizing it, or unable to get a test because they weren't at deaths door.  If you recall, it was difficult to get a test for weeks/months unless you had severe symptoms.

With that said, there might be a small portion of the US population with some natural immunity... but what I've read about variants (especially the Delta variant) is that natural immunity effiacy is knocked down quite a bit (not as drastic as what happens with a 1st dose of pfizer though).
