What? Doug opened Julie's Place for her in one of the first things that happened in the time jump.

Julie's Place looks like the type of restaurant that only serves breakfast food and closes by 3pm. Which means Salem will be ringing in the New Year there. 

 

Count me in as a fast-forwarder of the majority of Eric/Nicole scenes. Honestly, Greg Vaughan has always bored me to tears.

I do like Eric/Nicole, too.  I want to like Sarah, but there's something that doesn't totally work for me about her.  Love her and Xander together, though.  I'm pretending that Kyle Lowder's Rex never happened.  Oiy.

 

But I'm guessing the baby is def. Brady & Kristen's.  Better than Eric & Sarah's, but ugh to either option. I will never understand why Tomsell didn't have Kristen have Eric's baby in '14?!?  THAT was the show changing story.

 

 

What if --- BIG if, because we know Eric Martsolf will NEVER leave --- Kyle Lowder took back the role of Brady? Would you still want Brady/Nicole as endgame? Or perhaps a returned Chloe?

That's such a depressing thought.  Julie deserves to run a restaurant/club more swank than that.

 

Perhaps, when they are released from prison, Bonnie and Hattie could take it over?

Yep! Not sure why they let Doug's Place go in favour of Julie's Place. Like you said, any night time scenes will feel weird.

I loved '03-'05 Bricole, but I prefer EM's Brady.  I didn't know what to think when this casting was announced after "Passions" was cancelled, but I love him all things considered.  I know people are divided on the actor, character, and Brady's MANY "love of my life" pairings, but he's definitely a very lead character for me.  But he and Kristen as a longtime viable couple is insane to me.

 

And I know it's jarring that Broe were effectively killed even before EM took over, but I never liked them together after the initial triangle with Philip.  Chloe works much better for me with the Nicole, Lucas, etc. group.

I guess they have the super tiny Bistro. For swanky upscale parties. I wish they would've kept Doug's Place. And the William's could've  ran both. I found Doug's Place ugly. But it was a great set to do those party scenes in.

i gotta say, one of the best things to come out of this time jump is EM shaving off that awful beard. He looks 100x better and 10 years younger. Beard made him look bloated/botoxed to hell, for some reason.

This made me laugh because literally right now I'm watching the show and wishing he'd grow it back 😂
