Days of Our Lives.

That sums it up.

Everyone has, from Deidre (Marlena/Hattie/Samantha) to Kristian (Hope/Princess Gina). I'm surprised Drake Hogestyn hasn't had to pull double duty, though I suppose with all of John's alternate identities, that makes him an honorary member.

Side note: Is it true there was a Bo double back in '92 when RKK took over?

Plus, Drake has a hard enough time handling ONE character.  Two characters just might push him over the edge.

But seriously.  It would have made sense for John to have a lookalike or twin out there, since there's so much about him that we still don't know after all these years and retcons.

GH - In the mid 80s, Kevin Bernhardt subbed for Jack Wagner as Frisco, then was brought on as Kevin O'Connor.

EON - Larkin Malloy returned as Sky Whitney after his surgically-altered imposter, Jefferson Brown, was killed off.

RH - Diana van der Vlis as Nell Beaulac and Sherry Rowan

OLTL did it a bit as well, particularly when they did their sci-fi or flashback stories:
Larry Pine as Roger Gordon and Randolph Lord (he also was on GL as more than one character)
John Brotherton as Jared Banks and a young Clint Buchanan
Melissa Archer as Natalie and a young Maria Roberts
Robert Woods as Bo Buchanan and a surgically altered Patrick London
Roy Thinnes as Alex Crowne/Coronal and Sloan Carpenter
John Fiedler as Virgil the angel and Gilbert the human
Loyita Chapel as Blaze, Renee & Dallas
Christine Jones subbed as Viki, then was Pamela Stuart

Maybe I read this wrong but I assume Eileen Davidson would own this topic. How many characters did she play on Days. Kristen, Susan, the Nun (Can't remember her name), there was the male character (Thomas? or something) and Penelope (I think).

Quinn Redeker played Nikki's father on Y&R around 1979 and then returned as Rex in 1987

Probably doesn't count but pretty sure Katherine Kelly Lang played a minor role on Y&R at some point, Gretchen or something in 1981 then returned as her B&B character Brooke in a small cross over in 1998

Brenda Epperson did a dayplayer role on Y&R shortly before she took over as Ashley on Y&R

Carolyn Conwell most famous for playing Mary Williams on Y&R also played two smaller roles. I believe she was Ron Becker's mother somewhere around 76/77 and then played a prostitute on the show as well

Lol I remember watching that, it was the strangest scene. Skip and Carol going through new Jabot model auditions for a photo shoot and Epperson happen to be one of them while some classic 70's Y&R cheerful score played in the background. Right after Epperson's model character came of course the infamous Lisa Mansfield came to audition and the background music became uber-serious and ominous as Skip cheered Lisa on lol.

I believe Quinn Redeker earlier played a lawyer on Y&R (Chris or Peggy's rape trial?)

Rod Arrants was Jeff the stable boy  before returning as Dr Steve Lassiter

Santa Barbara

Leigh McCloskey - Zack Kelton/Ethan Asher

Edge of night

Millette Alexander played Gail Armstrong, then Laura Hillyer and Finally Julie Jamison Hillyer
