I actually liked they had Peter be aware of who Jax is. I also felt Jax and Valentin are well aware of each other. Do I care? Nope. Poor Jax, probably going to be used to prop up Nina and Valentin.

 

The propping of Franco has reached unbelievable levels. Lol. He's just *so* wonderful, isn't he?  I truly just want to cry. Make it STOOOOOOOOOOP.

Whitewashing ughhh

Storms just does not look well.  I am not referring to her weight.  Her hair and skin color combined make her look sickly.  She has a grey complexion and that is just not a good sign on anyone.  I hope it is just my imagination and not more signs of her health being in distress.

Aside from the new theme (which I really like) and adjusted pace, there was another HUGE change. Gone is the the Port Charles skyline. The opening credits now end with a shot of the title superimposed over the iconic GH building.

It has a ATWL/GL feeling to the theme.....

Faces of the Heart was the name of the song. I've seen Dave Koz perform the song in concert a number of times. Beautiful song.

I don't understand how y'all can get into that opening. It's the cheapest of all time! It's literally just a slideshow of headshots!

Yeah, that’s still a tacky and cheap opening. Maybe not as violently seizure-inducing as the sped-up version, but it still feels like, “Why bother? Let’s just put up a title screen.” Ironically, GH spent its most successful and iconic years with basically a title screen as the opening (and I loved “Faces of the Heart”).
