These soap kids can’t have any fun anymore before they learn their lessons.  Cam caught before he really gets the drugs, and already had a court date about it.  Oscar and Joselyn can’t have fun in the catacombs like several young/teens have had before them without it turning into a city wide alert.

Also- didn’t the catacombs collapse sometime in the 2000’s?  When did people start going back down there?

Dante is off trying to catch the last guy (Raj the gun broker) that tried to kill Lulu for the WSB.   It's a typically stupid, off-screen tale.

I was amazed to see Lucas and Brad in the same episode with the kid   and then Wallow showed up. Bleccchhhhhh!  Her kid is dead. move on to the reveal Obrecht!

Indeed. All roads lead to Oscar on this show. They really think this is an all-time classic story. Meanwhile they’ve botched the one story on this show with potential (Ryan).

Very few things bug me on soaps more than close family members and friends existing in separate spheres during a crisis. Carly doesn’t have much Spencer loyalty, but yesterday she basically said, “Didn’t you hear? Lulu’s been stabbed.” A beat. “Well, sucks to be her! Moving on...”

They confuse the hell out of me with this Ryan story. What’s the point of having a serial killer if he doesn’t kill anybody important and nobody seems to care that a serial killer is on the loose? Even with Lulu it’s an after thought. Considering how big the cast it I’m amazed they couldn’t find anybody to kill off to raise the stakes. Was everybody asleep when Maura West filmed the Kiki death scenes? You have a goldmine of potential material with this story!

Maybe everyone else saw it coming, but I wasn't expecting them to play the story beat where Liz discusses the possibility of her 3rd grader being gay. I don't mind it at all, I just wasn't expecting it. I do wish it was anyone but Franco being super dad to her kids.

I don't give one f-ck about Jason and Sam together (zzz), but even I think it's about time they had sex. It never made any sense why it took so long.

Oh look, more Oscar drama but nothing about Lulu or Ryan.

I'm beyond over the Mike story, even though I love the actor. They could drop all this stuff with Yvonne and Marcus tomorrow and I wouldn't question it.

Sam-inex put me to sleep twice.

I like the Aiden story, but I would like it much better if Lucky were the man of the house--- even AJ, but not this turd. Elizabeth is being written well, but Lo-zer needs to be offed.

Stella should be on contract and TJ should be seen being a medical student at the hospital.  Otherwise, why did they bother recasting? Stella should be sharing scenes with Laura, Monica and patients at the hospital, not just Mike as the social worker.

Oscar is not Stone----please stop!

Of course Jason fell through the floor after bloated Jake "Dough" landed on it. Thriller Filler Killer Griller Miller looks awful.

No Ryan, no Lulu but aftermath for the not injured Oscar at the hospital.

I still see no reason to root for Anna/Finn. They are just "There" for me.

Chase bores me (but he's handsome, so I won't complain there). Wallow irks me.  The Sasha actress was much better suited than Wallow's. I know she's coming back, but Wallow needs to go. (Ahem, Ryan).

The Gail Baldwin story obviously was rushed and they have no idea where to go with it. I feel all  of the beneficiaries need to be at the next meeting (Serena and Lesley cameos-or Serena in med school. Brief visit from DA would be nice). With Lucy in town, she should be at the next meeting.

    • It really made Oscar the Doorman seem like an imbecile.   I think the show's unusual format & subject manner is what makes EON often seem less "dated" and "old-fashioned" than other shows from that time period.  It never attempted to be especially "trendy" or "modern" -- and its film noir style is pretty timeless.
    • Dallas, Dynasty, Knots and Falcon Crest all had good runs but by 85 they had seen better days. I think they were a victim of the format. After several seasons seeing the same characters front and center viewers were bored. What was once fascinating grew predictable. JR, Alexis etc had to be front and center and after a while their schemes and shtick grew repetitive. JR remarrying Sue Ellen, Alexis constantly trying to get he better of Blake etc Unlike daytime, there wasn't the flexibility to bring in other stories and characters and maybe let the likes JR go backburner. That same mentality also invaded daytime with characters like  Sonny and Victor still peddling the same stuff after decades. I guess the same could be said for MSW eg every week Jessica encounters a crime and solves it,but I think viewers come to that format with a different mindset.
    • Daphnee and Trisha did a live stream on Instagram and confirmed they find out if the show gets picked up in May. This pretty much confirms they're on the primetime schedule like the Bell soaps. Fingers crossed we get a multi-year renewal announcement soon!  https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJSsYb7PDv8/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
    • I don't think Lois the character was there.  The Lois we knew from the 90s has pretty much died with this  Gio story crap.
    • Have to agree re MM. The goody two shoes character and writing doesn't help but maybe a more dynamic actor would help Brandon lift his game also. I found the song sequence a little OTT. First of all it should have been shorter and maybe the song fades out and just some music to accompany the montage. I think it would have worked better if Anita had have been alone after everyone left and started tinkling leading into the song, with Vernon coming in observing and then joining her for  a close moment. Everyone standing around felt a little too much. And that closing effect with the two blackscreens meeting was unnecessary. Just a fade out would have been enough.

    • And sadly I think that’s the trivia Both Jeanne Cooper and Eric Braeden went with for years and years. Lol
    • But people were hating so bad on amc and the final year and the ratings sucked. Business wise they made the right call. Oltl who even gained some ratings back and weren’t they higher as GH at one point is a decision and never understood.
    • Ann Williams was the first Maggie Powers on The Doctors but left to have a baby. Maggie was successfully recast so Ann picked up the role of Eunice (Jo's sister on Search for Tomorrow) and played that role for 10 years before being killed of in 1976. That led to her role of Margo on EON.
    • Looking at those totals it seems most contract actors are on a 1 or 2 week average guarantee. I assume contracts are still operating on 13 week cycles so you would have to know the particular actors contract starting date to work out their guarantee. The question remains as to what actors listed as contract are actually recurring? Bryton ?
