She kissed another man who he doesn't like him just to hurt him. And Lola is constantly trying to get Kyle to change who he is (Things he should not even have to change) and does not accept him for who is. She makes him feel bad about himself and he has to tiptoe around pin and needles for her. Their relationship has an unhealthy dynamic to it and I believe it's going to get worse.

And in spite of how Kyle behaved when he first came on the show, he has bent over backwards for her and has been an excellent boyfriend to her. The writers have ruined Lola for me. I think that Kyle is better off without her.

I think that this potential triangle with Kyle/Lola/Fen may not end up being interesting. I think it may end up being hard to watch. I think that Lola has become very unlikeable, and  I don't think that both young men should be fighting over her. Once again on today's show Kyle was groveling, promising to "change" for Lola, while she was saying again that he didn't "get her'. (Even though he's treated her incredibly well, and is trying his best to make her happy.) Kyle has changed more than enough for Lola, yet he continues to feel pressured to change even more for her.

And IMO her and Fen don't have much chemistry. Today they had him complaining to Mariah about how his life doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Including his music career. He is just barely getting started in the music industry but on today's show they are trying to make him seem like he's down on his luck. I think this is to make him look more like he's "struggling", so that Lola will be "drawn" to him and get with him, once she blows up and/or breaks up with Kyle again. (For whatever ridiculous reason she will blow up at Kyle),

Also, I wonder how much we will see Mariah clashing with Abby, now that Abby is angry about the way Mariah reported Victor's arrest on GC Buzz.

I had liked Lola but now it's grating on me.  She wasn't aware she was dating a rich man who would likely buy her nice things?  She needs to be slapped.  What's Kyle supposed to do, give up his life so that he's 'more like her'?  Why is she trying to be a well known Chef and improve her situation if she doesn't want money?  LOLLL.  Then go back to your food truck and have a struggling life so that everyone can truly "get you".

I haven't seen the past few days....my Cable provider dropped our CBS affiliate.  What's she going to say if someone asks her why they split?   "Well he did something horrific.  He GAVE me an expensive purse!"

I agree with the above....he's no prize.  But to live the good life for awhile...yeah, how terrible for ya Lola.  And I agree with Darn....yeah, Fen's a poor pauper hahahaha.  Please.

I’m getting caught up and I realized I absolutely love having Ana on canvas. I admit I was initially hesitant as I hated child Ana but they got rid of the singing and it helps that the actress is stunning and can actually act. She and Devon have excellent sibling chemistry as well.

    • I may be the single person who does not mind Transatlantic Campy Pamela. I think it perfectly suits this sort of Absolutely Fabulous-esque supporting character she's playing much more than it did when Cady tried weird and often broad stuff at AMC* or Y&R, or later stints at ATWT. She's not Dixie and she's not trying to be. (* - and I say that as one of the few who was somewhat into Cady trying to make Dixie more cosmopolitan in the Rosanna Cabot mold in mid-2000s AMC, just to liven the character up again)
    • There’s absolutely nothing exciting happening storyline wise but I’m always happy to see the vets on my screen so I’ll take what I can get. It’s also just nice to see them all dressed up in the same room, it always gives classic Y&R vibes. The best part? No Phyllis.

    • Well now we had Ashley's reaction-and weren't we all gasping when she appeared to hate it-but she was just joking!! She loved it. Now we have to see Abby's reaction, and maybe Mamie could come back to say she loves it. How about Jill via Zoom giving her opinion (she'll love it) and bring in a day player to play Mrs Martinez to say she loves it also... I feel bad to keep dumping on this show (not really) but when the choices they make are so inane, it's the only entertainment value the show has. Let's unpack the Nikki birthday story. So Claire wants to throw her Nana a birthday bash as away of endearing Kyle to Victor. Don't quite get the logic there, but OK. She hires a party planner who makes ridiculous suggestions. Slightly annoyed that Y&R are hiring someone for this role for 5 episodes when we never see doctors, co- workers etc. But OK to that to. With all the talk we are expecting something special. What we get is the Jazz Lounge hideously decorated with some ugly tablecloths and a few tacky decorations. They needed a planner for this? Then the guest list consists of family members (no grandchildren)and a few others. Hardly a party. As usual the costuming is pretty awful. A red and black theme ? And our guest of honor is sporting a do that looks like a cross between Cameron Diaz in Something about Mary and Marie from Roxette. They should have had an intimate dinner and ditched all the fanfare. Would have been way more believable.

    • Her accent sounds horrible and doesn't fit in line with the character or the dialogue. I was just messing around on YouTube and perusing early Tad and Dixie videos. Notably, Dixie, a resident of Pigeon Hollow, West Virginia, has no discernible accent. i have no idea why she would add a defunct accent to this character now. I want to do an honest survey here. I watch BTG every day and I love it. It's not perfect, but I find it 99% entertaining. For those that find fault with it - what is actually bothering you? I'm not going to argue at all, or disagree with you. I just want to know what others are seeing that I'm not.
    • It's a choice and today, she made it more British than ever before. It's almost like she's making Pamela act like how she thinks she should be acting.
    • I cannot believe there is a whole storyline about the Abbott house renovation. They really are grasping over at Y&R. I don’t see a big difference in the set. It is refreshed. Why make a storyline out of it?
    • Cady is using what sounds like a transatlantic accent which is so odd these days. Sharon's hostility is entertaining already. That look she gave Anita when she opened the door was pure attitude.
    • Glad you agree about Chandler’s smirking. It’s the reason I criticize him. He hasn’t grown as an actor, unfortunately. I don’t fawn over him because of his looks. I wish he’d never appear until he loses his smirking style of acting.  Dee is doing a great job but yes, the story with the bandages isn’t the best. I get it- Drake wasn’t available and its a throwback to how John came to Salem, but it’s tough to get into the scenes when we know it’s not Drake under the bandages.
