And sadly I don't think she will be going to DAYS as her contract was with Sony for both shows and they wouldn't agree to what she wanted.

 

ED is so beautiful and such a natural performer, I've been a fan of her on soaps since way back when, she had at least another decade left in the genre if she so chose. Sadly, Daytime does not realize quite what it has lost with her and Mishael -- the experienced actress, and hope for the future. Foolish, foolish, foolish, Y&R!

That's what I thought...the studio looks like a ghost town as well....very scary looking....

That's what I'm hoping. It's not like ED hasn't been through this drill before. Just like the SSM era that ushered in a dozen new characters, recast Reed and The Worm and Dina - I believe all except Tessa and The Worm are gone* - the same thing is going to happen here. 

 

* Dina is dead-woman walking thanks to MY's personal crusade, which has made a mockery of those suffering from the disease. He could've had Dina filling the void that JC left behind considering her legit historical and current ties to GC. Such a shame.

I don't know whether Dina/Marla Adams could've filled that particular void, but I do think it's a shame how they've essentially written Dina into a corner with her Alzheimer's diagnosis.  No one's here for "September Song," Mal.

I'm hoping Eileen doesn't come back, and that the show brings back the prettier Brenda E (who probably wouldn't be as expensive, either).

Probably I fail to see why this is being made into such a big deal when she left up to a couple of years ago.

Yeah, she's left a few times so I don't get the hullabaloo. Probably doesn't help that I don't find her to be a very interesting actress.

I'm with you. Shes not that great and shes left many times  so I'm confused as to why it's being made t be such a big production this time.  We'll see her back in a year or two.

Has Hillary Kozak and another soap actress in the production.  She plays the bitch on wheels low budget, but still a fascinating movie.
