I thought Doug Davidson or Kate Linder when I saw the topic.

 

So with TEB, JC and now CLB recurring and Greg gone it looks like the end of the Baldwin/Fishers. For the best really as long as Michael and Lauren pop up when needed.

I thought for sure this was gonna be Doug Davidson...

He already feels like a recurring character to begin with.....I can't even remember the last time he was onscreen WITH Lauren...

hasn't he been recurring this entire time? If his current airtime is contract, wtf will his recurring look like? 

Good. One foot is officially out the door. If only they'd go a step further and push him fully out the door. Wipe all the Fisher/Baldwins off the canvas forever!

Yeah, Baldwins are goners - I'm pretty sure Tracey is on her way out too - Xfinity changed the long-running Y&R icon featuring her for DVR tapings to simple Y&R logo with black background last week. Can't be a coincidence. 

I too thought it would be Doug Davidson for sure. He still survives!

 

I can never be too happy about a vet going away. I loved Michael and LeBlanc once upon a time and think with better writing, direction, and without the marriage to Lauren, he could just as easily return to how he was. His character hasn't been ruined, he's just not written well.

 

That being said, this signals the end to his horrid family in a way and I can't help but be a little giddy at this!

Looks like Christmas came early this year for a whole lotta folks.

Waiting for CLB's Twitter meltdown in 3, 2, 1...

 

The Fisher-Baldwins had been a pox on this show for far too long.

 

But I suppose this is only the beginning. We all noted that MY's new story model with lots of different locations and characters featured every day wouldn't come cheap.

I don't care if they get rid of the rest of the family, but to me, he's a Genoa City fixture.   I've always like him.

This is just making official what has been for the last few years running.

CLB going recurring should not mean an end to TEB at all. Lauren was there before Michael ever even got to GC. 

Lauren has story line and history that don't involve any of the Baldwins or Fishers. Lauren could easily have a storyline that doesn't at all involve Michael.
