Administrator Toups Posted March 28, 2022 Administrator Share Posted March 28, 2022 I just don’t think a dude giving one punch/slap equates to mental illness. Sure it was at the Oscars but I just think it’s a stretch. You can take the man out of West Philadelphia but you can’t take West Philadelphia out of the man. Go Will!
Members ReddFoxx
Having mental health issues isn't really the same thing as mental illness. I'm not saying he has a chronic condition, but he did give off the vibe of someone in a state of distress and in need of help.
Members Faulkner
LOL, it was true. Just checked the on-screen cable TV schedule: Edited March 28, 2022 by Faulkner
Members DramatistDreamer
He won't. It will likely be talked through between the two of them. Just very awkward to see.

Members j swift
The NY Post already has pics of Will Smith and Chris Rock making up at an after party. https://pagesix.com/2022/03/27/will-smith-chris-rock-to-work-out-slap-incident-after-oscars-2022/ Edited March 28, 2022 by j swift
Members Faulkner
That’s an old photo. Will didn’t change clothes that quickly. The captions says “are expected to”—it’s speculative. What a strange article.
Members janea4old
Yeah i did a google image search. That pic of Will and Chris is from the world premiere of "The Matrix" Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in the Westwood section of Los Angeles. Administrator Toups Posted March 28, 2022 Administrator Share Posted March 28, 2022 ABC Execs: “The Oscars are back, baby!” Will and Chris are icons. I can’t see them not making up some time in the near future.
Members j swift
agreed - guilty of just reading the headline (usually that's the whole story in the Post) but I did see this Please register in order to view this content
Members janea4old
Will's full acceptance speech. (with occasional glimpses of Serena and Venus watching) Great speech!

Members DaytimeFan
That's exactly what it was. Appalling.
Members BetterForgotten
I generally find both Will and Jada to be two of the most repulsive, and phony people in Hollywood, so no, I won't condone Will's assault on live television just because he's a star. Anyone else would have been reprimanded by security and taken out of the ceremony. The Smith "family" for you!
