I don't give a crap about Mattie and Reed and the rest of the bad acting teens. Also I'm not buying a Mattie as this needy smart girl simply because they throw glasses on her and give her lines about study topics that don't even factually make sense.

Reed came home quite often. At the very least he should know them through step dad Billy since Jill treats Cane like a son.

Cane DG is a horrible actor imo and he needs her. He is always so cheesy and also I don't know where Cane being the "new" Brad came from but that wouldn't happen in a million years. He doesn't have the charm, looks and experience Don Diamont (Brad Carlton) had.

I doubt that would happen they showed Reed as a good kid among the crowd.  Charlie appeared he wanted to rip Reed's head off because he was seeing the girl he was making out with and I'm sure he found out he was obviously seeing the girl until he let her go after catching them.

Cassie isn't needed. I don't think anyone gets killed to make Reed persona non grata. I think the better question is who is Sierra.  That'd be that no last name Erin girl that Mattie is friends with.

Anyways, i meant that the dynamics of there relationship would be the same. As well as who will get focus and who won't.

No, you see Charlie platonically hanging out with her like Devon did with Sierra lol

Charlie will play angst for this Mattie and Reed to much like Devon played angst to all lilys

I wanted to post for some I see don't believe what Michael Muhney played when he was Adam...I have been watching The Young and the Restless since the very beginning and I was very young with my mom and grandmom.

I don't want him back and I am so furious when I see on FB people want MM as Adam back even after I show them what he did after being called a liar and I cannot fight them all off and I shouldn't have to. I know what happened and been a fan of this show since the beginning and I even cannot believe how much I remember since I was so young when it 1st aired.

MM's Adam was a horrible evil scumbag, pardon my French. I just cannot believe the character when he played in the role got away with so much. I was even called a liar when I said he killed Dr. Taylor to keep the truth from coming out what he did to Sharon and Ashley. I know what I watch and am not delusional. Also after Adam shoved Dr. Taylor into traffic on they don't have it on YT but I bet if you go to the transcript site you can get that when he was rushed to the hospital after being shoved into cars, Adam was so relieved when Dr. Taylor died. Adam was so evil and it never stopped there if we bring up all the evil he did even after that, I don't know how people wanted him redeemed. I liked Justin as Adam because it was almost like he wasn't Adam but the fact remains all memories for me came flooding back recently and you cannot erase what he did. MM's Adam besides Ian Ward had to be 1 of the most evil characters ever.

This last one was when Chris Engen was about to leave the role as Adam but 1st he dressed as Victoria's BFF who got killed in a car crash (Sabrina) and appeared to Ashley in a purple dress and long black wig.

You are so right. I just can't stand being called a liar. lol But I haven't been on there for a few days. Man are they relentless and can't accept the truth, so I had to dish it to them. lmao

I like them. I didn't think I would cause of the sorasing but I think Mattie is so adorable and innocent which I like. Also gives us a break from the adults bickering. lol

^^^ I agree with that 100%...I'm an adult and some don't like the teens on the show but I do because it makes it realistic and it is also sweet to see young love and maybe problems teens face and if well written can be a good example. I mean nothing fiction should be taken seriously but if well written to be a good role model it can be sort of a PSA.

Huh? Did you miss my original post about the dynamics of Charlie, Maddie, Reed being a parallel to Devon, lily, and Daniel just to....accuse me of hating CG? I'm not even sure how my post even became about her...or even more off beat, my dislike of her? Am I not allowed? Better observation is why does it bother you so that I don't think moon beams shine out her ass so much so that you bring it up when it's not the topic of conversation?

I assumed that post was asking who would be the one to die. Silly me for saying I don't think anyone does and it's not needed.

That's also a good comparison. That guitar and all. But the objections about age aren't there though.  I chose lily and Daniel cause the objections will be because there parents don't necessarily like each other. That's more akin to Dru vs Phyllis. I suspect it'll be Cane vs Billy this time.

    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
    • The Bell soaps, B&B and Y&R: cannot watch. If I went by the last time I did I would have to give them both D- but I really don't think it counts when you're not a daily watcher.  DAYS: B+ (Now this is with the knowledge that for years I have given this show a D- because I've been a fan for too long to give it the F it deserved.) GH: A+ (With Korte driving this bus to me the show is so much better! IMO we just had the best NB in so many years I cannot count!) BTG: A solid (Things I love, a few I do not, nothing I hate, still find it in general remarkable.) As always, thanks for doing this thread. I count it. I always look for it & I always post.
    • Okay, I continue to maintain that what is so good about this particular reveal followed by umbrella storyline is that you can see & understand many different points of view where there is not one bad guy or one 100% right person.  About your stated opinion, that Lois & Gloria did the right thing, you know that this was technically an illegal adoption? For it to have been legal the father, if known, would have to have been informed & have signed off on terminating his own paternal rights. And, of course, it is clear how many people they lied to.  Personally I feel like Lois is going to take the biggest "public" blame with Lulu a close second in the blame category. I am looking forward to a tongue lashing I hope Brook Lynn gives to Gloria. I continue to be more than annoyed with Dante. First his attitude toward Gio with regards to Rocco & a drinking game & its results. Second his attitude toward Lulu. Meanwhile enjoying the show every day!
    • Lois and Gloria did the right thing I feel knowing it was Camila that raised Gio has BL feeling some jealousy No one is saying that Camila was a bad mother to Gio I believe it will be Gio saying that Camila was great to him, thanking Lois and Gloria to get BL to see truth
