She's just so nagging, but the complete opposite of Roseanne. She seems passive-aggressive and it's mind-boggling to see her in a relationship with that guy, lol! He seems like the kind of person who would take all his sh*t and leave.

Maybe Darlene will have a coming out story which might explain her nag, nag, nag behavior. Maybe once she comes out of the closet, she'll be back to being a cool character. 😄

I felt the writing was stronger in the final stretch and would be happy to see it back for another season.

In light of all the budget issues, they could do some cast cutting. Send Mark off to college with some guest appearances and I'd seriously consider making John Goodman recurring.

He seems to be referencing the teleprompter with every line reading, so he must be struggling.

Move the action to Darlene's house and the Lunchbox. Dan could make limited appearances.

PD Why was DJ's daughter maintained in the credits? She was never on.

Suggestion that'll never happen:

Do one more season. On the series finale of The Conners, after a round-the-table shot of everyone having a big family dinner, we fade back to Roseanne Conner in the basement, once again doing her writing. It turns out Dan is still dead and everything we saw on The Conners was just Roseanne's writing for a novel that'll never be published.

The end.

Oh, that was the actual finale? I watched it, but I didn't really think anything about it, lol! I need to rewatch again.

^^Good ending thought/post. 😀

HELL NO!  Screw Roseanne, and that's putting it nicely!
