Are there rumors floating around that Burton is coming back already? I saw a tweet to Doug Davidson that seemed to imply that and he gave a thumbs up.

I might be in the minority, but I actually found all the Newmans a lot more tolerable today....

Yes, but some people have been vociferously denying it, I've heard a few people swear up and down that the paternity could be changed at any moment.  Wishful thinking on their part, I always thought.

Burton should have been written out earlier and the undercover work, which came out of nowhere, should be off screen. 

 

Maybe they made a deal with him that if he left quietly and acted like it was all his idea, they would write him out as the action hero he thinks he is wishes he were.

Vee be quiet.what Soapsuds is saying is totally true. SalUgs writing is so boring and awful. I would take Pratts stunts over this crap anyday at least i was entertained. I bet this regime lasts a year ratings will drop. Its awful.

Indeed. Horrible. Burton looked like he was playing around for Halloween. Not to mention, the whole set up regarding Miami just seems a little offensive. I get what they're trying to do with it, but boy do they make Miami come off as so tacky. lol

 Only know her from listening to the DC podcasts. She seems to have common sense. She understands modern soap telling. Hopefully she helps them come into 2017. But that's all I can say.

I'm good with that. I think he character is ok, but I see no reason anyone should pay a premium for that particular actor.

Agree. Who pays that kind of money for just an okay character that'll never be anything much to the show and is better in supporting. 

Also, forgot to say as I catch up, Ravi and Phyllis seemed to have a little bit of chemistry. I want her to pin him up against a wall and show him what's what.
