I'd be happy to see the character and especially the actress return as well. I didn't watch yesterday's episode yet, but it sounds like it all adds up to that. "Oscar Jessup" ... going after Julian .... it writes itself. I'd love nothing more for it to end in Julian's demise. Payback's a bitch

Lest we forget how Jillian's return didn't involve Finola but gave Mo plenty to do. I expect more of the same. Another back from the dead and this return is going to be better than the 57 other returns?  Sigh...

I share your apprehension.  However, my hope is that the current writers access the great scenes with that character and Anna, and also Lucy on YouTube.  There is no Sonny needed for this return, if the rumor is true.

I don't really think this would be for Sonny, of course they'll probably prove me wrong, but I agree with you that Jillian was all about Sonny. He's a little busy at the moment with Carly Junior. How long before Nelle's knocked up by Michael and telling Sonny he's the father?

I offended some people when I suggested that Y&R needed either another black writer or a consultant. I'm going to have to double down on that and say that GH needs a consultant who will help them figure out how to write for women. I don't care that the writers are women, they don't know what they're doing.

 

They've lost perspective on how absolutely unacceptable and completely sexist some of these stories are. Pretend rapist and serial killer Franco as Liz's avenging angel? LuLu baby crazy for years, violated by having her eggs stolen and carried to term without her consent.  Nina baby crazy to the point of kidnapping. Do they even get how insulting the "dangerous infertile woman" trope is to women who actually are infertile? No, they don't because they are clueless.  Carly going back to a man who has caused so much damage to her children. Really, she wants to raise Joss and Avery in that? Alexis stuck in a story with a man who tried to murder her? Are they seriously going to put them back together? I can't. In fact, I won't. Despite the fact that it's freezing outside and I'm knee deep in diapers, I'm taking a good long break from this drivel. It's not like GH offers any kind of escape at this point.

this post and completely spot on. It's offensive to see how women write other women, and I'm a dude. It's awful. Gotta pander to the "Julexis" fanbase. I guess her drunkenly running him over with her car is foreplay.

 

But look at Ron. A gay man can't even write for gay men. All he ever had them do is watch Knots Landing and Golden Girls. But at least they got some airtime I guess. It's now Lucas who? Brad got something last month. Felix got something with Sobby kicked the bucket. But nothing for any of them.
