Agree that Franco/Liz is a sick pairing but all the shows have abhorrent male leads who've committed heinous crimes and are the heroes day after day.  Roger is a gem.  

Emmy Rylan is awful; she always has been.  Given her size/voice and appearance she can really only play a certain type. Her tough act with these GH serial killers is embarrassing.  

 

If you're calling Roger Howarth a gem, you've lost me on the rest of your actor evaluations. 

 

And GMAB on Frank Valentini's production values. I think GH looks gawdawful cheap. The sets look plastic and lighting is terrible. Wardrobe? Ugh. 

 

The writing? The less said the better. Dragging out Morgan's death and funeral like this is pitiful, especially turning it into Sonny On The Cross.

  I thought Monday's episode was great....on the west coast most of the show was pre-empted by the President's news conference.

Not at all interested in Sonny's act of contrition. This bastard should have been in jail for years. Carly will be back on his bed by next Summer for sure.

 

Like the Ava/Scott/Lucy dynamic though. As someone said earlier, Ava is the only salvageable character from Carlivati's run. MW is terrific and the character has tremendous potential if written correctly.

 

Jean is writing juicy stuff for Ava. I feel like shes complex and the umbrella storytelling is perfection.

I saw that Lucy was on today and saw her scenes on Youtube. Lynn Herring seemed less shaky in her acting than I remember her being a few years ago (maybe because this was less "comedy" Lucy). It was actually a good set of scenes (for her anyway).
