Kevin is asexual, 100% asexual, and Michael is at this point too far removed from any story about sex or passion.

I don't think Tuc as Philip is a bad idea, if they have the story. The problem is they generally do not.

I always thought Cane fucked him for cash and a way to get out of the gutter. I still do. They should explore that.

Yeah, I thought about that more I was only partially watching last fall so I missed a lot, but I didn't think there was more than a month or so (and that's our time, not soap time). I get that they are trying to bring the story back to the forefront slowly. Heck, it's been months since Dr. Anderson was killed and that was a big mistake. Nick and Sharon should've had opportunity to confront her, but I'm sure Prattostrophe was just trying to ensure that Sharon would be the crazy scapegoat. Clearly this will be THE story that launches November sweeps, which starts in four weeks.

Looks like we're stuck with StePhyllis under new writers. Too bad. Because, of course, any sane person would choose a 'job' over a share in company and a job. I really don't get this at all. So suddenly Phyllis doesn't see Marco when she looks at Jack? Maybe this is just a device so that Phyllis & Billy can keep running into each other.

Ooh Ashley/Travis..... I can handle some Ashley/Victoria trash talk.

THIS!!  Lauren with Michael has always been so icky for me. I never ever saw anything with them as a couple. Chloe and Mariah are just being wasted on with nothing to do Kevin give me a storyline I am here character.

Tuc as Phillip? Hell No.....Tuc is so out there and I just cant stand his acting. He needs to stay far away from TV.

Tuc is actually a good actor. I've realized that from watching his original stint on OLTL where the material was more serious than it was under Carlivati. He actually showed range b/c there was range in the writing. If the writing was there, he'd be a great Phillip recast.

Back to Lauren, I've never seen her and Michael as couple either. I enjoyed when she was screwing Carmine b/c it was classic Lauren. Lauren needs a damn hunk. Michael ain't cutting it. Chloe and Mariah need male suitors too. Sucks that this show was squandered a huge portion of their young male leads over the last decade. No Kyle, Noah, Chance, Carmine, Ronan, Tyler, Mason, etc. All of them have been tossed aside while we've been stuck with weasel faced Kevin, who is FAR from young.

    • That was so surprising to me today. I didn’t see any spoilers that this was coming up so I loved it!
    • Well, VI was leaving, and while Long admits that killing him was stupid...I do agree with letting him go with a big bang...body missing.  They spent a lot of time and money on Infinity, (which I think might have gotten a bit of a better reputation had it not been the harbinger of a total tonal change with the Bauers and Reardon's decimated and its all Reva and the Lewis and the weird people hanging out around Kyle) so they needed it to end dramatically. They could have done so much more with having Alex go after Kyle and Billy, but that ends and she starts moping over weird and boring Simon. With Kurt..what were you going to do.. cute but boring and perfect and with ties to no one (they had a nice little thing where Bea took him under her wing when everyone left but then she did too..) If they had the balls they would have had Rick and Mindy jump in the sack ( I know, Mindy should have learned birth control by then) I would have had it be Mindy who knows about Rick's drug use and she tries to help him...(not that nobody who came and went) of course, Kurt and Roxie misunderstand..that on top of her bad Sampson Girl thing leaves him to leave her temporarily, and in grand soap tradition, Rick and Mindy console each other (again, I would write it that they always really did, and Mindy rushed into things with Kurt) and she gets knocked up, and loving Rick but also Kurt she chooses to believe it is Kurts (which I could see Princess Mindy doing "My life is perfect and I will it that way, this is Kurts kid")But, she had the dumb model thing, then she burned down the house he was building, she tried to get prefers and he dies (but also Kobe was the one who built him up, then she was gone when he was let go.) Ross believe it or not is one of the last of the "old guard" characters, beside Ed (who is now FauxEd) and Maureen, and Henry and Van (who is ties to being the Lewis family mope.) JVD has made jokes that they didn't write him out as they simply forgot that he was there!
    • Excellent! The OLTL-GH promo places this and the RH episode (which I assume aired directly before this AMC) as airing during the week of Aug. 20.
    • Thanks! There's never enough early 1980s AMC around.    The only actor I don't recognize is the actress playing Wanda, Mike's agent.
    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
    • Oh wow. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
