I think Kevin should be the bottom if they do give him a gay story line. Then he'll meet somebody twisted like when Kevin first appear on the show. I want Kevin to be somebody bitch.

Kevin is asexual, 100% asexual, and Michael is at this point too far removed from any story about sex or passion. 

 

I don't think Tuc as Philip is a bad idea, if they have the story. The problem is they generally do not. 

 

I always thought Cane fucked him for cash and a way to get out of the gutter. I still do. They should explore that.

I would argue that Kevin has evolved into being asexual, probably. But I think he began deeply closeted. Michael is another story.

 

BTW, Jamey Giddens is now absolutely obsessed with Emmerdale.

I also think this a good story line for Cane & Lily. Now if they can make Philip a little meanie, he still can be doing Cane. 

So after bonding with Chelsea last week, Mariah quits Chelsea 2.0 over Chloe. Clearly the new writing regime is making some changes on the fly here. Thursday (U.S.) was clearly the weakest episode in several weeks, but still better than what we were getting. 

Even when being civil, Funny how Nikki, manages a dig to Sharon about how Chrully being 'big for his age, etc.' Normally what should be a compliment still comes across as some sort of criticism of Sharon. Anyway, Sharon should have said well it's because he takes after his grandmother. I don't mind because Nikki & Sharon should always have that certain friction. 

That scene had an implication I didn't understand. Was Sharon's baby supposed to be born sooner than Christian. The comment clearly scared Sharon, so it seemed like it was a clue that Sully isn't her baby.

Sharon's fake baby was born after Christian. BUT, Christian was a preemie and it wasn't that long after. Maybe a month. That's not enough for a size difference.  Silly writing. 

 

Yeah, I thought about that more I was only partially watching last fall so I missed a lot, but I didn't think there was more than a month or so (and that's our time, not soap time). I get that they are trying to bring the story back to the forefront slowly. Heck, it's been months since Dr. Anderson was killed and that was a big mistake. Nick and Sharon should've had opportunity to confront her, but I'm sure Prattostrophe was just trying to ensure that Sharon would be the crazy scapegoat. Clearly this will be THE story that launches November sweeps, which starts in four weeks.

BTW, Jamey Giddens is now absolutely obsessed with Emmerdale.

I know some want him to see Hollyoaks because it's so similar to the current US soaps. I do like hearing how he's surprised at how UK soaps kill off characters

So suddenly Phyllis doesn't see Marco when she looks at Jack? Maybe this is just a device so that Phyllis & Billy can keep running into each other.

Here's something you can all cut eyes at me for: Jamey Giddens, of all people, suggested Tuc Watkins for a Phillip recast. Honestly, I'm for it.

I know, I know - but Tuc is a great actor and capable of doing serious work, not just slapstick like Ron Carlivati gave him at OLTL. He showed a facility for more both before and after OLTL, on the online OLTL and on his many primetime and cable appearances both prior to the 2000s and much more recently. I'm down. Mock me if you will.

 

 If anything, I wish this show would rid of the Fisher/Baldwin brothers. Free Lauren. Free Chloe and Mariah.

Tuc is actually a good actor. I've realized that from watching his original stint on OLTL where the material was more serious than it was under Carlivati. He actually showed range b/c there was range in the writing. If the writing was there, he'd be a great Phillip recast.

Chloe and Mariah need male suitors too. Sucks that this show was squandered a huge portion of their young male leads over the last decade. No Kyle, Noah, Chance, Carmine, Ronan, Tyler, Mason, etc. All of them have been tossed aside while we've been stuck with weasel faced Kevin, who is FAR from young.

Phyllis has always been a woman who worked and made her own way - it's not like she wasn't married to a Newman and to Jack before. No, this is a very weak plot device and it's just uncomfortable watching StePhyllis emerge and so thirsty for Aunt Jack's love.

I'd love to see Lauren back with Paul. She isn't the devious vixen she once was and that's why Paul dump her. I always loved them as a couple.

Yes, they've always had great chemistry. And yes I remember that storyline way back in the good old 80's....LOL....Paul's reaction was priceless!
