After months of being a glorified extra it's nice to see Paul do more than stand in the background. The long forgotten Derrick the bellhop stallion was even mentioned. It's nice to see Sonny reunited with his daughter Ari. The search for baby Tate is boring. Theresa's lost all her fire. Psychic Caroline . I hope Victor isn't involved in Tate's disappearances as was hint.

Caught DAYS for the first time in a couple of months. Hmmm. You think Sonny has a big 'Paris' secret. Gosh he's so subtle. LOL

Peggy was truly the only reason I kept watching the episode. It was kind of funny to watch the whole group follow her around town. It's been a long time since I've seen a DAYS episode that had multiple - non-wedding/funeral scenes - with so many actors. It definitely helped.

I have no idea why Summer would give Tate to Kristen  ;)

Haven't watched the episode yet but maybe he found a new love or even got married?

I think Derrick is the one Sonny should go after…maybe he hooked up with Derrick and they become a couple in Paris?? Derrick just disappeared didn't he?

I knew Jennifer would hire Aidan. I wonder how long till she starts to fall for him

Big PUKE to Rafe and Hope reuniting as a couple.

Nicole's hair is looking better but she's dumb as hell to be getting involved with a man that's using her as a substitute for a dead woman

I've never cared much  for Camila Banus, didn't care for her in the Nick story--- blah,blah... Her scenes today (Tuesday) had me surprised. She was energetic, and I actually found her scenes with Marlena and Sonny enjoyable.  So, why haven't we seen Gabi and J.J.'s romance? It reminds me of Jennifer's unseen drug addiction recovery after her stand alone episode, and Eric's descent into alcoholism...   At any rate, I thought trotting Caroline from place to place was annoying. It was good to see her interacting with Victor and Maggie, though.

One of the biggest problems with days is that they only live with headlines about big returns and new characters, them, nobody do nothing interesting.
Ana Alicia can be a great addition for the show, but only if they write to her a good storyline.

    • If NBC could have for seen the ratings of Lovers & Friends (the replacement for Somerset).. they would have for sure kept Somerset on the air longer. https://jason47.com/days/ratings1976.html  (ratings for Somerset in the final year) https://jason47.com/days/ratings1977.html (ratings for Lovers & Friends short run...getting as low as a 2 rating).

    • I liked them, too, and was really disappointed it never went anywhere. The whole art theft story was ridiculous, but they had a nice chemistry. Certainly nicer than Alan with Christine. With her, he looked like the funny uncle. The worst thing they did to Bolger, IMO, was having Phillip write that DREADFUL novel and dramatizing it while he wrote it. GAG, that has to be in the running for one of their worst storylines that didn't involve wacky things like clones or time travel. Soaps rarely do school storylines, or don't do them for very long. Not the case so much in the early days of soaps, but after GH took off in the late 70s other soaps took their lead and would catapult teens/young adults into adult stories right away. That's one reason Phillip and Mindy ended up with so many ex-spouses--they started getting married really young. They shipped Dina and Cameron off really fast after high school and stuck Alan Michael in a marriage storyline with Harley. Did he EVER go to college? I don't think so. It may also partly explain why Quint and Annabelle had to go, beyond TPTB wanting to do a cast sweep. Teaching is not a profession that plays well on a soap. Quint definitely had to quit being Indiana Jones, because that wore thin really fast, but they didn't do him favors by making him a professor. If they wanted to keep him, they should have done what they did with Amanda (who was in another dead-end soap job, concert pianist)--have him work at Spaulding as one of the major stockholders.
    • Judith McConnell (Augusta) and Denise Alexander (Lesley) were great screen partners on GH.  They got into some stellar arguments in character in the medicine room.
    • He also commented that Brad knows that fans are sick of the constant fake deaths on this show: Finn, Sheila, etc and that it's hard to take this seriously if it's another fake death

    • I just don't think Brad Bell has it in him to actually kill off Liam. He should have killed off Eric when he had the chance. I know John McCook is an original cast member, but Eric is even more useless than Liam. Eric should have died and then it would be revealed that he died without a valid will, so Donna, as his wife, inherits everything, including his shares in Forrester Creations.
    • I think we all will, isn't that how soaps work? lol
    • ^^ I'll believe it when it actually happens.
