Hope and Rafe are cold blooded murderers;, dumping Stefano's body in a warehouse, killing a legacy character in the most disgusting way.
Chase is a rapist
Eric, the former priest, killed his best friend in a drunken driving incident
Aiden was a crazed killer
Ben was a crazed serial killer
Bo is dead from a brain tumor
Stefano is dead from a lame ass twist of Hope going nuts
Daniel is dead and Brady needed the heart because his was damaged.
Maggie had to make a heart choice because Eric suddenly had a chest infection.
Steve has no spine and slept with Ava
Crazy Ava returned, kidnapped Kayla
Kayla turns violent and punches out Ava
Joey has a crush on Ava 
In a homophobic rage, they killed off Will and no one mourned for more than a week
They saddled Belle with ridiculous money theft plot.
Hope was accused of killing the doctor and got off scott free by confessing!!  And no one in town knew she was arrested.  This is like when Irna Phillips, during her senile final writing phase, had a character fall up a staircase on ATWT, not down, and die!!!  Lordy
John found his mommy and daddy and the backstory has nothing to do with story that transpired in the last 25 years.

They doubled the age of four children in a matter of a few weeks with no break in appearances, three of whom cannot act at all.

What am I missing?? 

Yes, Kayla and Steve are good.  Thao makes the best of this drivel.  The directing, lighting, sets have massively improved.  Shawn/BB is great.  

Wow, it's like watching a train wreck.

I caught a bit of the show yesterday and cringed how she was mumbling her lines and lack of emotion. She pronounced "care" as "ceer" at one point.

They've gone out of their way this week to have Chase say that he's 18, and Ciara said Theo is almost 18, so does that mean these kids will be out of Salem High this spring? Jeez.

I noticed that about the ages of the teens too.

 

Ugh. "He was my rock." "My best friend was gone" "I know how you feel" "He was my best friend too" ... ugh.

Yeah they were 16 not too long ago, guess they needed to age them to 17-18 for this story. Which makes no sense since this could be told with 16 year olds

Yeah I agree I shouldn't be feeling bad for Chase at all but the way Jonathon McClendon plays it, you can't help but pity Chase

I was about to ask if Chase was the youngest rapist in soap history but I guess the SORASing changes that

This Summer story is AWFUL. Scene after scene of her going on about how amazing Daniel was. And now she might be a random kid of Maggie's? It keeps getting worse.

What's up with the hue they're using for the outdoor beach scenes? Is there a deep greenish yellow fog that permeates all of Malibu? Someone needs to fix that in post-production! It also shows off the cakey makeup in the crevices of Martsolf's wrinkles.
