I hope he cuts his damn hair before he comes. I can't see him as Billy but JFP would toss Burgess in a second for buddy old pal JT. Plus they need a popular actor for that exhausted pairing Villy. Then there's Adam. If JH had the good sense to only sign for a year then yeah JT will be new Adam.

I'm unfamiliar with Thompson's work as I don't watch General Hospital but good lord knows that Billy needs recasting of course. However Adam does not need recast as Hartley is great and if he leaves then the show should be done with Adam for a good long while. Then again, I am also reading of rumors that Thompson is coming back as Ricky Williams in disguise in addition to the Adam, Billy, and Kevin recast rumors so we probably won't know until the role is officially cast.

I'm holding onto hope that JH re-signed, but if not, than they should have Adam do a year in prison until JH's pilot fails. Nothing against him, but so many pilots fail. Plus, it would do Adam good to spend a little more time in the clink. I still love the character, but he deserves to do some time for what he put Chloe and Billy through when he didn't come forward right away.

Jason Thompson would be wrong for a Billy recast, IMO.  From a physical or visual standpoint, at least, the contrast between him and all his predecessors in that role would be too jarring.  But, hey, anything to be rid of Old Man Jenkins, I guess.

This show excels at bad recasts so he'd work in that regard. I think he'd be a better fit for B&B. Visually he looks like he could be a younger brother to Bill or Quinn. Maybe he could be someone for Katie to cheat with bc lord knows all those characters could use a storyline

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.

I'm sorry but I'm a glutton for punishment. Would love to see this woman OWNING the canvas. Telling off Leslie who tells her she's the head b!tch.
    • And in case anyone is confused; Rusty was hired by HB to work undercover and infiltrate some gang sabotaging Lewis.
