Members ChitHappens
I think killing Will is a bad idea but when you play a serial killer arc, you have to take out at least one character crucial to the canvas and history. A serial killer just to clean house is pointless. Risks must be taken. That's how it was done BITD.
Members ReddFoxx
Will has been written poorly, so I don't mind seeing the character killed off. Sami supposedly comes back to town because of his death and I think that is a good way for her to come back.
Members Antoyne
What is that, two dead kids for Sami before 40?
Members AlexElizabeth
I'm so behind on the soaps that I'm just now seeing this, but hallelujah to Guy being out. Killing Will is completely stupid though. First True O'Brien, now Shawn Christian and Guy Wilson... all the right people are leaving.
Members YRBB
But if we were to justify killing off characters because they have been written poorly in the past, 99% of every soap's cast should be dead and buried by now.
Members DRW50
Not to mention that killing off major characters isn't really going to help save poor writing.
Members ReddFoxx
That is true, but in this case I think if the writers were going to kill off a character, Will is expendable. He could have been written out and recast later, but I doubt he would have been written any better.
Members NothinButAttitude
Killing Will is not going to go over well with the audience. Did they not learn from how EJami ended? I guess DAYS does not wanna make it to 51. As much as people hate Guy Wilson's Will, the fans will be livid if they kill off Will. Sami lost her man now she might lose her son. Talk about putting another nail in the coffin....
Members DRW50
I don't think fans will be that upset, but it just annoys me because it's so lazy, such a waste of story potential, and I have a feeling it's because Will is gay. Members Vee
I think Ken Corday's range of mental motion allows for little more than: "We have another popular gay (Christopher Sean), we can kill the other one." And maybe he's still miffed at Chandler Massey, who knows. It's all so stupid and turns me off a show which, while far from perfect, I was enjoying these last two weeks. Members full hearts
I do think fans will be surprised. It's easy to forget how many viewers are spoiler free. Will is probably the last person they expect to see be a victim.
Members ChitHappens
And this is what it's all about. The unhappy on liners mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. It's not about killing a legacy character (fvcking hate what that word means to today's soap viewers), it's what comes next to the people who knew and loved him. Let online soap fans make decisions and legacy characters will never die.
Members StevieM
Sami had another child that died? Are you talking about Mia's baby, Grace? Or was there another baby that died?

Members dio
do we have any confirmation Will dies? I still don't believe it. I think the PTB are purposely putting death rumors out there so peeps will be surprised when Will gets his "happy ending" etc. there has to be some "happy moments" when you are doing a serial killer SL. It can't just be wall-to-wall angst and melodrama.
