I'm disappointed since I did enjoy her, despite the terrible writing. I had hoped since they were writing for her, she was filming at Christmas, etc. that it meant she was sticking around. 

I wonder if the actress+character is leaving, or just the actress? Maybe, Charlotte Ross will reprise?!

I'm disappointed by this news. I especially hate that when Days cuts someone they are lame ducks for months on end. I'm not going to invest when I know a character is out.

She was the only Tomlin hire that fit in, I get why they let her go though. I hope she can find another gig somewhere.

Looks like Thorsten is the only one of the AMCers that has lasted the longest on his show. other than MCE on YR

I'm a little disappointed by this news. I like KDP, always have, always will.  The mistake they made with Eve was not trying her out with Eric/Rafe/Justin/Lucas, etc rather than schtupping JJ. That story was okay, but Eve should have mixed with other characters more to keep her relevant.  I wish KDP the best..

I think Thorsten's success might be because he ended up on B&B. That's the better place to land than Y&R. It certainly worked out for Jacob Young.

I just saw a "NoNo" commercial this afternoon, so there's that for KDP. Seriously, as a 'new' character named 'Eve,' I thought KDP did the best she could with material. However, as "Eve," daughter of Charles Shaughnessy - KDP, who's only six years younger than him, and it shows. (Yes, Charlotte Ross was only 13 years younger, but it wasn't that big of a stretch - especially nearly 30 years ago when Eve was a teen and Shane was made a bit more mature.

I don't see why that ever mattered at any point during her run considering CS never played Shane opposite her. Eve's main scene partner from the past was Jennifer and KDP looked like she could be contemporaries with Melissa Reeves.
