I know this is unpopular opinion but Guza in the 90s was brilliant soap. He's been off GH almost five years this go around. I think wigh the right exec producer he might be what the doctor ordered with Jean P co head writer. Would u take Guza back?

I won't lie I enjoyed Guza's tenure and I wouldn't mind if he came back. I would have taken him at Y&R over Pratt.

Believe it or not, some actually do want him back, if only because of things like the quality of the scriptwriters he had when he was there (which obviously wouldn't available to him now).

As for me? I haven't watched regularly in a very long time now. And everything I see described here at PTV, where the other GH forum I go to is, just keeps me doing this:

1996 Bob Guza? Sure. But Wendy Riche was there to keep him in check. After that he ignored half the cast and destroyed the show. As awful as Pratt was, at least when both of them were there we still had a focus on more than Sonny and his family.

I would rather Guza and Pratt not write for daytime ever again.

Let's lure Nancy Curlee out of retirement and have her installed instead.

Are Frank and Ron a package deal? Would one stay on without the other? If Jean P (she of intellectual writing lol) takes over the reins, could Goutman as EP be far behind?

As was said before, 1996 Guza with an EP to keep him in check!!! I don't think he's welcome by most of us, after he decimated the Quartermaines and made St. Sonny vs. ______ every single story. All his sweeping stories ended with at least one beloved character biting the dust (Tony, Georgie, Alan,Emily, Jake) and relegating all vets aside from Luke/Sonny to the backburner and off the show.

And while Cartini has brought so many people back, he doesn't use them properly.

Both hacks should stay out of Daytime...Nothin But Attitude should be writing along with so many others here, whose stories run circles around the crap we are forced to watch in order to see the few characters we love! <Lookin at you...Franko, Nina, Silas, Kaka, Denise, Jillian> Wastes of screen time!!!

Jean P and Guza would give us a GH really meant for cable tv. They both love darker more pyscho logical writing.
