The newest issue of Soap Opera Digest

has confirmed that Camila Banus (Gabi)

will be returning to "Days" later this year.

Banus is the third former cast member

announced to be returning for the 50th

anniversary, joining Stephen Nichols

(Steve) and Peter Reckell (Bo). Like

Nichols and Reckell, there's no word yet

on how long her return will last. Banus is

nominated for Younger Actress at the

Daytime Emmys this year, and the award

will be handed out this Sunday evening,

April 26. "Days" fans are hoping for more

returns to be announced over the coming

months

I don't mind that they show her from time to time. Better than Ari's mother just being forgotten. And I doubt it's some huge return that the entire 50th anniversary will center on.

No one was asking for her ass back

I liked Gabi when she was a bitch and evil and when she changed but when she was living with Will and Sonny it was blah moments…I wonder if she takes the baby away from Will before Sonny leaves for good.

I say let her come back to town, get in a car accident with Will, causing him to need plastic surgery....Then, ship her back into prison....

Gag me with a spoon. That's all I have to say about her return.

As for the suggestion for Carrie to return... Christie Clark is OK but why people seem to like Carrie completely eludes me honestly. I would even take Belle any day over her.

That's exactly who I was wishing for to come back!

(although I do enjoy her recurring appearances. They make sense. But they still piss me off -- they give this character proper treatment but not more important ones).
