B&B: Brooke Spoiler

Brooke is headed into a 12-step program, with Jill Whelan of The Love Boat cameoing as her group counselor. But do we really want this to work? Brooke on the sauce is kind of a hoot!

I have no idea how far [exec producer-head writer] Brad Bell will take this but Brooke needs to hit bottom, and she will. There's an episode [airing March 10] where she is rejected by Deacon again and she's drinking so much she falls and hits her head. It's her idea to seek help. Whether it works or not, I can't say. But it'll definitely be tough for her. She's traded one addiction for another.

It's way too soon for a 12-step. This story just started! They should play her drinking for a year....slower build up...a couple of tries at sobering up....and then a horrendous fall of the wagon where people get hurt...and THEN a 12-step.

Yeah this is happening way too fast! We needed to see this go on for a good 4-6 months before she started seeking help. They should've had her drunk crash a wedding, trash Forrester, revisit boink berry island, flash people in the streets of LA, etc, etc...before even considering 12-step. Really disappointed here.

Wow. No kidding. So much for the "Big" storyline. This is such a let down. ITA - this should go on for months and months - and just have subtle little things happen, then some big things, retreat, a bigger thing, etc. What's the point of wrapping this up?

was wondering why they kept doing close-ups of the booze she and Eric were enjoying, today. I was like so? LOL So, Brooke's doing Taylor's old SL's? Are things that dire? >_>

So Brooke all of sudden becomes a drunk that needs a 12 step program?? Oye

Id rather her have sex with men because of the rejection of her previous beaus....we see her having sex with different men to ease the pain and then she discovers she has a disease from it...maybe even AIDS....

The whole drinking is boring and been done before

Yep it says alot when KKL is even tired of Brooke being a slut and seems to be enjoying drunk Brooke. I am sure she wants Brooke to grow as a character, but sadly BB won't let her

Typical Brad Bell - his "issue" stories are always horribly paced and poorly done. At least this one hasn't managed to be horribly offensive, which is more than I can say for most of his heinous Logan family PSA stories.

If they're recycling Taylor's hand-me-down stories, which supporting character will Brooke accidentally kill off?

I think this fine fellow should be the next man to cheer her up...

I would also suggest...

... but there's no use hoping at this point.

After today's episode, I understand the decision to kill this storyline. KKL was awful as drunk Brooke - she just can't pull it off. I was cringing during the Deacon scenes - leaving the restaurant and then those goofy faces she made after he kissed her. Good call to kill this. I'm sure they were expecting more, but I think we (and obviously Brad) have seen enough to know it's not working at all.
