which was dumb since they phased Marcus out not long after introducing him and they never really played them up as brothers. Carter all up in Forrester and close to Ridge is exactly the role Zende could have had. The triangle with Marta and Rick also would have had more weight had that been his uncle

That clip exemplifies my point. And I agree that it would've been more powerful had LSV been Carter involved with Maya. Plus, I would've bought his instant connection to Ridge more and him caring about Forrester so much.

Either is Ridge then. Eric adopted Marcus of his own choice - so he's the same as Ridge. If the claim is that Stephanie's kids, well that kicks Rick, Hope out. Legally Marcus is the same. It was still a bizarre decision by the writers to do this back then. I never got what an adult adoption of Marcus did for the character or show - especially since it's not like Justin is some slack!

Steffy was extremely obnoxious during the early parts of the episode -- demanding that Ridge leave Caroline, telling him she's no longer proud of him or whatever -- but later on you could really understand her frustration over her family's company and how the whole thing could come crashing down. Obviously, her whole reaction to Ridge/Caroline was like this because they needed to give her motivation for giving Liam her shares.

I was not expecting the stuff with Rick & Wyatt at all. It was SO nice that Wyatt didn't beg and just walked out. Although Rick's behavior doesn't make any sense. First he runs after Wyatt, regretting Wyatt's quitting, but then he tells Aly and Caroline that Wyatt has burned his bridges? Maybe his pride got in the way and he was saying that for Caroline and Aly's 'benefit'.

Bill already lying and deceiving Katie Any guesses as to where this is going? And he JUST promised her, numerous times, that things would be different! LOL at Bill and Liam going on and on and on about their plans to Wyatt. I still find Liam's desire to take over Forrester annoying and obnoxious but maybe, just maybe, this will work out.

I loved Wyatt asking Steffy how she's doing and her going on a tirade before ending with "and how are you?" Although Steffy really shouldn't ever do much more than entertain this idea of Liam's before turning it down. I'm glad Liam the idiot messed up and mentioned Ivy right as Steffy was starting to get convinced. LOL and WTF at Steffy yelling that she still loves Liam (although I'm not surprised) and I laughed soooooo hard at her asking Liam if he is dense. Yes, yes he is, boo boo!

Liked Ridge's new apartment. Him painting Caroline was so sensual and so beautifully shot.

I really like that Brooke went to Deacon as friends. I see she's drinking again. Quinn jealous look was amazing. Brooke better be smart enough to stay away from this bitch!

Maya has been sighted! I really did not expect that they would talk about Amber and show flashbacks. Love that they did that.
